Welcome to the Zetaboards edition of IxCensus! Each week, we will be posing a new worldbuilding question to get the creative juices flowing and to help us all better understand each other's nations through the answers. This week's topic is terrorism. Is terrorism considered a threat to your nation? Do your people live in fear of carbombs and urban guerillas, or is terror just something that happens "over there"? Who are the main armed groups or movements with a beef against your government? How strong are they, and what are their goals and methods? Perhaps most importantly, how has terrorism or the threat thereƶf affected your nation and life within it? Have an idea for next week's IxCensus? Submit it here! |

After past activity from Islamic radicals Palmeria has become a wary about terrorism, though terrorist cells have been disjointed, the recent social instability has again brought to the discussion the possible armed activities or resistance that may exist or be generated in the future and how these fit into a Marxist society that understands the relation coercion-coerced and the possibilities of resistance that it implies. There are no armed groups currently or efectively confronted with teh government. Again the scar of the radical islamists is the most clear memory that Palmeria has on terrorism, and to sum up the future collective thinking on political violence i will have to use a writer's phrase : "It's very important to comprehend who practices violence: if it is those who create misery, or those who fight against it"
