1. President - Is first in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with carrying out the responsibilities of the government and constitution. - Is not democratically elected (must be the founder). 2. Chancellor - Is second in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with carrying out the responsibilities of the government and constitution. - Is democratically elected (elections held four times annually). 3. Minister for the Interior - Is third in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with overseeing the functioning of the region and the Executive Government, and ensures that the region is kept internally safe. - Must be a World Assembly Member. - Acts as the Regional World Asembly Delegate. - Is democratically elected (elections held four times annually). 4. Minister for Defense - Is fourth in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with commanding the military of Madrigal and coordinating with our allies, and acts to keep the region safe from invasion. - Must be a World Assembly Member (membership can be held in a puppet nation, verification telegram from said nation is required). - Must have previously served in the Madrigal military or in an allied military. - Is democratically elected (elections held four times annually). 5. Minister for the Exterior - Is fifth in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with protecting Madrigal and furthering its interests and goals with allied regions, foreigners, and enemies through diplomacy and similar techniques. - Is democratically elected (elections held four times annually). 6. Minister for Justice - Is sixth in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with protecting the constitution of Madrigal, and ensuring that all laws and decisions made by the Executive Government keep in line with the regional constitution. - Is democratically elected (four times annually). 7. Minister for Culture - Is seventh in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with educating and entertaining the populace of Madrigal through the creation of regional newspapers, role-plays, etc. - Is democratically elected (four times annually). 8. Grand Adviser - Is eighth in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with advising the president. - Is appointed by the president. 9. People's Representative - Is ninth in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with ensuring the voices and emotions of the people are heard by the Executive Government. - Is democratically elected (four times annually). 10a. Judge One - Does not have a position in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with protecting the constitution of Madrigal, and ensuring that all laws and decisions made by the Executive Government keep in line with the regional constitution. - Is democratically elected (four times annually). 10b. Judge Two - Does not have a position in the overall hierarchy of command. - Is charged with protecting the constitution of Madrigal, and ensuring that all laws and decisions made by the Executive Government keep in line with the regional constitution. - Is democratically elected (four times annually). Anyone wishing to run for office must be a Madrigal citizen, and must have resided within the region for at least three weeks. |
