- 冥界の宝
- Meikai no Takara
。。 Long ago, there was said to be a clash of the heavens; the underworld was let loose upon earth, and godly shinobi were to defend it. The fight was long and strained to the upmost exhaustion; however, the earth remained in tact as the demonic forces of hell were once again sealed. Upon the battlefield, several treasures were left behind that brought not only power, but ultimate evil as well...

▼▼▼ Said to be a Toad crystallized into jewel from Mount Myoboku, Kingama (金の蝦蟇, lit. 'Golden Toad') is a small item the size of a hand. Stories say that the toad which was petrified by the gold and crystal had the abilities of Wind Release, being able to withdraw large amounts of wind along the scales ofBaku. When a technique is released by a target, the user of the Kingama will point it in the direction of the oncoming technique, before squeezing it. The Kingama will then open it's jaw, before inhaling the technique whole. After consuming the technique, it will lock on to the chakra nature of the technique's user; if the target uses the same technique again, the user as well as the technique will be sucked inside of the toad, being sealed into the stomache of it. The item may only lock onto a single technique at once, however; it must release the chakra contained within it before attempting to capture another technique.

 | Two guardians of the underworld, Gozu and Mezu (牛头马面/牛頭馬面, lit. 'Ox-Head and Horse-Face') were once two fearsome guardians or types guardian of the Underworld, where the dead face suffering prior to reincarnation. As indicated by their names, Ox-head has the head of an ox, and Horse-face has the face of a horse. They are the first people a dead soul meets upon arriving in the Underworld; in many stories they directly escort the newly dead to the Underworld. However, they are now petrified into large statues, being the about 11 feet tall each. It has been said that if you create a Blood Rune on the statues, they will come to life and eradicate every last spec of blood that coincides with the blood rune. Being statues, they can withstand any amount of pain and are immune to genjutsu. They cannot be guided or misguided unless the bearer of the blood is completely gone or the blood rune is disrupted.

Composed of an ancient skull surrounded by countless jewels, Kamen no Mekurabe (目競, lit. 'Mekurabe Mask') is a mask which was said to be created by a captured Multiplying skull that menaced Taira no Kiyomori in his courtyard. The skull has two large ruby shards where the eyes would be, which naturally draw eyes to them because of their magnificence. Stories tell that anyone who is to stare into these rubies will be immediately placed under an illusion; when used by a shinobi, contact with the rubies by another will cause them to fall under a genjutsu. Within the genjutsu, it will seem as though their soul is being ripped from their body; however, in reality, their chakra is being drained from their body. This mask is extremely dangerous, however, because one cannot control the power of this mask; the shinobi may only wear it, he may not control the genjutsu; he is not immune to it either. The stare of the ruby eyes is so strong that once contact is made, it is near impossible to Kai out of the genjutsu because the moment the chakra is released, the stare of the eyes once more cast the genjutsu over them. The eye contact must be broken to break the genjutsu.

 | A fantastical golden-colored compass, the Fujunrashinban (不純羅針盤, lit. 'Compass of Impurity') was once owned by a Noppera-bō who was searching for his face. However, the Noppera-bō never found it, and ended up dying with the Fujunrashinban within it's grasp. With the body long decomposed, apparantly the ghost of the unnamed Noppera-bō is said to haunt the Fujunrashinban. The compass, in many tales, will point in the direction of a strong desire of whoever holds it. However, it is never really clear what a person wants most; it is merely stories of people who have actually found what they are looking for. The compass also comes with much danger upon its use; as long as the compass is in possession of a user, the user will become ultimately obsessed with what they are after, and will eventually stop at nothing to obtain it, if their will is weak.

The Shirohebi no Obi (白蛇の帯, lit. 'Belt of the White Snake') is a belt which has stolen the powers of Sekien Takajo, a woman who was able to elongate herself at will. Through legend, the belt will allow the wearer to stretch it's midsection at will, through input of chakra through the belt. However, using the belt is generally dangerous, because the majority of chakra flow is blocked while stretched; the user will not be able to perform any other technique while utilizing the belt. It is said that the belt can stretch any limb, by tying it to the base of the limb. If the belt is removed, the user will return back to normal.
