Super Smash Bros. Melee showed us that cartoon characters fighting each other could be enjoyable. A sequel to the N64's Super Smash Bros., SSBM lived up to it's predecessor and even went beyond. More characters, stages, moves, everything had more and it was even better. SSBM was a game that people would play for years, and they did until the Nintendo Wii came out, but even now people play it (I know I do) and wait for the newest game in the series, Super Smash Bros. Brawl! coming for the Wii in February. Pros: Great characters and stages More characters and stages than the original A more in depth game story Adventure Mode An enhanced "Classic Mode" More tricks and moves More/Great items Cons: Graphics could have been better Too limited with game play, Adventure Mode was straight forward, no changes could be made Mini games could have been better This game really had me from beginning to end, which didn't take long to reach. It is still in my Top 10 for best Gamecube games and will most likely stay there. All in all, this was a sucky review, but I give Super Smash Bros. Melee a 4.5 out of 5 |
![]() You are Goofy. Kind natured, pacifist, naive. You pretty much beam kindness. People depend on you when they are feeling down, and you are always happy to comply. You will stick by your friends till the end, and will refuse to let anything happen to them. Your kind nature leaves you open for attack; people could easily take advantage of you. Your only shield is your strong heart, which could never fail when put to the test. | |
