Well, I know SM345 might not have it, but that doesn't mean no one on this site besides myself doesn't have it. Basically, it's a quasi-2D platformer with a twist... you can build your own levels. The story in story mode takes after the earlier Super Mario Bros series and isn't exactly totally there. Ehh.. it was better explained in this review.. http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps3/review/R129697.html Basically, the story mode's kind of challenging and creative, especially when trying to get everything in each level, but the real fun begins online, where there's no limit to the creativity from various users. People like jjmusicman, Twilight93, and person who made the Emerald Hill Zone series seem pretty skilled at making good, challenging, and fairly unique experiences.. okay.. Sonic-based levels aren't exactly unique, but still. Some of the creativity I've seen is just astounding and I taken back by how well you can recreate various other game enemies.. like Goombas or Dekus (at least I think the Forest Temple level's Dekus were well done..).. Anyways, what do you think of this game? |
