Please don't tell me Force Unleashed is a 6 hours long game....

If it is, I won't buy it.

Well i completed the story in 2 days, but that was me playing nearly all day Sunday, but it has alot of replay value, & it is really fun, best SW game since Battlefront & KOTOR imo.

& <SPOLERS> Darth Maul is in the game but it's your Droid Proxy immitating him, like a hologram, his programming makes him try to kill you from timt to time...
< END SPOILERS>

what are you talking about "saber lock"?

The DS game has a saber lock mini game that you have to do during the boss battles.

Just finished playing, and I LIKE IT!
Emotion, yet peace.
Ignorance, yet knowledge.
Passion, yet serenity.
Chaos, yet harmony.
Death, yet the Force.

Force Unleashed: definitely using the force to do new things, the main thing being disappointing me. I don't know how many playtesters that game had but it couldn't have had many. It may be because I played on sith lord, but I found that the game was unreasonably difficult in certain areas.

1- Having enemies that can fire pinning missiles at you until you are dead.
2- Enemy bosses having powers that can't be dodged and are not used infrequently.
3- Having many bosses using powers that as a side effect prevents all damage to them...3 times in a row.
4- A level up system in which you fill your combo chart with still a lot of your force powers and force talents slots open.
5- Having planets in this order: A,B,C,D,E,A,D,C,F (that's 6 planets in a 9 planet sequence)
6- Having very little in the way of power development even though it claims to have done a great job on it.
7- To provide a romance lacking in any substance.
8- Stick prompts that don't work.
9- Having quicktime events that repeat themselves when the player fails them until 10- they are done correctly.
11- Having Proxy proxy himself as all of the bosses that you've already beaten.
12- Enemies having personal shields that protect them from force powers and some saber strikes.
13- Enemies having guns that shock you and render you immobile for a period of time.

That being said there were many powerful redeeming qualities of the game.

1- Having a black lightsaber.
2- Having Proxy proxy himself as Maul (this was nice but why not proxying himself as you or something in addition to Maul).
3- Having fluid quicktime events (some people hate them but I think that they were enjoyable).
4- Having an excellent story (if a little uncooked in the end).
5- Reread #1.

But overall this game scores maybe a 7 with me. And I'm being lenient because I'm a star wars enthusiast. The gameplay was probably the worst in any game to be spun in my xbox's disc drive. There were just too many things wrong with it. Especially considering that i spent about 30-45 minutes on each jedi boss. The game is constantly tripping over it's pretentiousness.

Star Wars usually isn't that scary because the sci fi theme makes everything so intangible in that regard. However, I just played the DS ending for the force unleashed and I'm probably going to get nightmares. And I'm not an easily scared person.
