Looking for anyone who reads these besides me. Personally, I stopped reading comics back when I was 14, but when the clone wars series started, I had read everything.
I became a huge Quinlan Vos fan. I have to say, when it came time to vote for what character to be made as a figure, I had to choose Quinlan over Revan. And now we have both.
Here are some of my thoughts on all of these series so far.
Knights of the Old Republic-
A good solid story that has been exciting to fallow from day one. Every month they give us more and more to look forward to. I believe that Lucas feels The Sith Lords killed the story, and that this will breath life back into it. In the comics first year, the characters came together just like the games main characters. The story was intriguing, and the art was very good. After a while the story started to splinter off, but now its all coming back together. Jedi Malek has just met Admiral Kareth(and Carth, who he doesn't remember later). HK-24's and Mandalorians are about to face off against the Jedi and the Republic.

The Dark Times-
I really like this before it became its own series. Now I find it dragging on. Two survivors of the Clone Wars, a Jedi and his former enemy sneaking around the galaxy to find a lost child. This story is more about the effects of the new Empire, then it does with the Jedi fighting to survive. Maybe it will get better, or maybe everyone else wanted something a little different.

Empire/Rebellion-
I really liked for the longest time, but now I'm lost in the current story. I liked the stories they did with Vader, Rogue Squadron, and Luke vs Tank. Now its going away from familiar and going towards new stories. I felt that this last story was too much like a war in the middle east then in a galaxy far far away. Next story please.

Legacy-
To put it very simply, Great villains, weak heroes. The new Empire is cool, run by Jagged Fel's grandson. His daughter is very much like Jaina(her supposed great grandmother). The new hero Cade, is a cross between Luke and Han with a little Boba Fett and an Ethiopian. He needs some robes to cover his frail body. The story is doing alright, but doesn't have a great big plot yet. The story started off with the Sith taking over the Empire right after the Jedi were destroyed. Now theres an Imperial civil war, a couple of Jedi looking for Cade, who doesn't know if he wants to be a Bounty Hunter anymore. The new Emperor/Sith Lord, Darth Krayt looked really good, and felt really sinister. Now we come to learn he is just A'sharad Hett, a very old Jedi from the Clone Wars. His Sith empire was just featured in the latest novel Inferno.

Any one else have any thought on these stories? I'm very interested in what other people think. I personally don't know anyone else who reads them.

I read a few of the comics, but that was a long time ago. I followed Quinlan Vos since I liked "Twilight" so much. Recently I read volume one of the KOTOR Comics, which I liked. I'll probably get volumes 2 and 3 once the price goes down.

I haven't read Dark Times or Legacy, but I've gotten the same feeling as you judging from what I've seen on Wookieepedia.

I don't actually read the comics...heck I don't even know if they sell them here in my country at all! :D But from what I've read about Knights and Legacy on forums and on Wookieepedia, they seem really cool. I like the fact that they've featured Mandalorians and Mandalore the Ultimate in the most recent issue, maybe we'll get to see Canderous too(we've already seen Carth, so why not?) and if I remember correctly Cassus Fett is also gonna be featured in the last issue of the current KOTOR arc. Oh and I also like the fact that Malek gets his butt kicked by Mandalore...priceless! :D

As for Legacy, I've been following reports and summaries about it too...I was pretty shocked that Krayt was actually Hett, but if you think about it, it's logical. Anyway, I'm not very disappointed with him being A'Sharad; I'm curious as to how and why he eventually turns out to be Krayt...it seems he also met Vergere while in Yuuzhan Vong captivity. As for Cade, I just love the joke about him wearing Vader's pants and that being the reason for why Krayt wants him captured. Anyway, should be interesting to see what eventually happens to him.

I actually did a Mandalorian version of Knights 1. I named him Cassus Fett. I used The scar faced Revan and doned the Mandalorian assault armor, and took Carth & Canderous as mandalorians. The Yavin Station weapons made it possible to use non-lightsaber weapons to fight in the end. So I'm looking forward to see him.

Does everyone know the big surprise about Rolan?

He is wearing Vader's pants!!!

I still have my gripes about Legacy...but from what I hear (and seen from part 1) KOTOR Comics are good. I guess I'll have to buy part 2 after all :)

Oh, and for anyone who is interested, Dark Horse is rereleasing all of the Tales of the Jedi comics, so they should be available soon. Enjoy!

Nah...

My theory is that Rholan is of an Arkanian subspecies, which would be why he refuses to take off his helmet aboard the Arkanian ship. But I'm way behind, and I could be off.

But he's definitely not Demagol. :P

I don't really think he's Demagol either. The two just seem too different. Anyway, what do you think of the Vector arc of the KOTOR comics so far?

I think Vector is interesting, but I don't really like the idea of Mandalorian-Rakghouls. <_< Anyway, I really want to see more of Revan, Malek & the Revanchists, if that's possible. Oh and more of Cassus Fett too. :D

All I've really seen are the Mandie rackghouls.

Oh, and if they make Celleste into the Exile, then the truth will really be written in blood.

EDIT: Do you think if I pick up Vector now, it'll spoil much of Daze/Knights. I really want to get caught up, but I don't want to wait for the fourth TPB, and they claim that Vector is a good place to pick up the series.

I don't think they'll make Celeste into the Exile, at least I hope so. But I'm fairly certain they won't. :P Anyway, I don't think you'll spoil too much of the Daze/Knights arc if you pick Vector up now. The major thing is that Zayne & his group have returned to Taris, and they're missing one of their initial members, plus one of the Covenant members has gone bye-bye.

Hmm...well, I know which one of the Covenant is toast--they foreshadowed it in Days/Nights. But who's the other one who's missing? Don't tell me! :P

I suppose it can't hurt...Vector, Part 2 comes out today. I guess I'll pick up the first two issues this weekend.

By the way, I think we just hit 7,000. :D

SPOILERS!!!

*sighs* Did Gorman Vandrayk really died...? :(

Also, I'm pretty up to issue 21 of the KOTOR comics. I'm really glad that Arkoh Adasca was killed finally. That guy seriously annoyed me. Though, I have to admit, his plan was pretty good. Just didn't go the way he wanted it.

SPOILERS END!

Part 2 of The Reaping came out on Wednesday. It was... meh... better than it's been since Vindication, but not as good as the beginning of the series. I really think they've just run out of ideas. This whole Crucible thing isn't interesting, but they're trying to stretch it out for as long as they did the Covenant. Bong Dazo's art seems to have improved, though. Atiyeh's colors were good too - I really liked the contrast, especially with Golliard's uniform.

And... spoilers...

Rholan is totally Demagol. And here I was thinking they'd do something interesting with him. :(

Again, meh. :P
