Thanks JK24! You should have a try as well, the contest is still open and I'm sure you would create some nice stuff....
You like the first one better? The second one took most of the time. Until I had the right colors and the lighting on Logans face. I wanted to take the same Logo as the other two but you couldn't read it because it was so small, so I created a new one....So I think the second one is WAY better than the first!

Don't mention it, SP! :D I would've probably posted an entry too...if it weren't for my busted PC. :( Of all the stupid periods in the year, it just had to get busted during the winter holidays... <_< oh well...anyways, thanks for the confidence! :D

I actually like the second one better, from a certain point of view :D ...I also like the lighting on Logan's face...it gives it something extra over the others. I'd also like to know what that text means too. :D I actually thought the first one was better, only because it has more characters in it. :) Anyway, they're all great and I wouldn't like to be the one to choose between all these magnificent pieces of artwork.

That text behind Logan's head in the 2nd banner...looks like Matrix code... :)

Anyhow, nicely done!

As you can see, the banner has been updated. The version being shown at the moment may end up being temporary while I see how the animated gif affects the site. I'm also looking into flash banners.

Anyways, congrats to SirPal - as you can see I used a slightly edited version, essentially combining two banners...it just looks cooler :P

Also, to everyone else who entered, thanks very much and remember, there will be a new design for 2009...that gives you 12 months to create your masterpiece :D

There may also be other contests in the coming months so look out for them.

You did edit his entry without permission.. Sue him! LOL

And 12 months, hmm... It took a week (my guess) to create the stuff that Mr Palamides did.

Actually the rules say that by posting, you allow the image to be edited :P ...plus SirPal is the one who edited it, at my request after I'd chosen his banner as the winner.

Thank's guys! allthough I would have never been so smart to add the animation here... :D

EDIT: Vadakin, if you need the picture in a bigger size, it's no problem (original size is over 2000x2000px) but often pictures look better if they are stretched than shrinked by the algorithms of the browser....

Very nice banner. I'd have that is one of the most professional banners I've ever seen made. Could Sir Pal possibly put a up a tutorial? :P

Well I did make a tutorial on how to take nice pictures of the kotor models but that's not all of course....I'll have to think about explaining some techiniques and hints, but I'm not sure if that would be useful, because most of it is just the result of learning and trying....
