No the story is interesting. There were useless characters and the voice acting and way characters talked reminded me of an overdone action film that is desperately trying to look cool. The romance is the worst in any star wars game i've played. Gameplay is absolute garbage though. |

Meh, you're right. But it wouldn't be KOTOR, so it wouldn't have the same appeal, at least to me. In other words, although TSL has roughly the same plot as Planescape, the latter just isn't Star Wars. |

Meh. I think TSL is a perfect. I don't get why so many hate the game. And the fact that TSL isn't Star Wars is the number one strength. It focus on the dark mood or the galaxy and the characters are brilliant as well. I could go on, but meh. Back to topic. |

No it is not. The entire thing almost retcons everything as it is anyways. The plot makes no sense, and the main character is terrible. He has no personality at all until the last level, and this actions then make no sense with his previous ones. The characters are almost compeltly flat, not dynamic at all. The romance was terrible as well.... |

No it isn't. Do you see a half dead sith lord destroying a old lady in Star Wars? I think not... |

The game is Star Wars, but the tone and feel of the game is nothing like any other Star Wars content.

Yes, it in STAR WARS KOTOR 2 TSL is as much Star Wars as ROTS and ESB, the mood is similar to ROTS and ESB. And the half dead Sith lord cut her hand off, very Star Wars thing to do(it happens in AOTC, ROTS, ESB and ROTJ) TSL IS STar Wars |

No it isn't. Star Wars movies usually have corny or bad dialogue. KOTOR II doesn't. |

ESB has good dialogue, ROTJ and ANH dialogue is pretty good despite one or two missteps. ROTS was OK at dialogue. KOTOR II has opening crawl and everything that makes STar Wars. KOTOR 2 has good characters like Star Wars. KOTOR II is as much STar Wars as any SW movie. |

Having only read the comic, I haven't seen how horrible all those other things are (well, actually, I saw the trailer, and some of the acting was horrid, and what I've seen of the gameplay looks worse than JK3's, but enough of that). And yet I got the same impression: the game was trying too much to appeal to Star Wars fanboys, with its pointless "homages" to the original trilogy which were executed rather poorly. The whole thing with PROXY is a frail excuse for there to be a boss character who can look like anyone in the Star Wars universe living or dead. And why the hell there was a rancor I have no clue. The characters are dull with absolutely no development - not that there isn't room for it, considering how shallow and one-dimensional they are. The locations were taken right out of the films and other Star Wars games and were as uninteresting as they have always been (though at least Tatooine wasn't in it). And the plot? The first half seems like your typical "go to this planet, kill lots of guys, and come back so I can yell at you for screwing up" repeated a couple times. And then whatshisface goes and betrays the Empire because Vader killed his father... which he already knew. And of course the grand revelation is that it was all some grand scheme by the Emperor that was pretty obvious from the start. And the duel with Vader was completely ridiculous... the less said about that the better. And a rancor? What the hell?
Have you even played the game? |

TSL is a Star Wars game, but the tone, plot, ideas are very far from other content. A few are similar here and there, but... no. EDIT: JC is right about TFU |

KOTOR II is the same canon as the movies, therefore it's technically Star Wars EDIT: Disagree with mr to be president JC up there. |

Actually it isn't, but even so, whether it's canon or not is irrelevant. |
