I do hope this game gets made, as the original Rogue Squadron for the N64 was just plain awesome and incredible. |

If Star Wars Rogue Squardron will return to the Wii... (EXCLUSIVE PLEASE...WII NEED MORE GOOD 3TH PARTY GAMES!!!!!) - I hope all the fighter classes from the original trilogy return, because seriously, who'd fly a Jedi Starfighter when they can instead get in a X-Wing or an Y-Wing. A-Wing and Millennium Falcon should return as well. - I hope it will have different control schemes: 1. Wii-mote and Nunchuck 2. Wii-mote, Wii-Motionplus and Nunchuck 3. Classic Controller 4. Gamecube Controller (no Wii-mote on it's side because of the lack of buttons.) - I hope original trilogy actors and prequel actors alike will lend their voices, however I would prefer an original trilogy setting. Actually...I won't buy it if it'll be prequel. - I hope it'll feature the same classic secrets, like flying a car. - I hope it'll feature NO ground battles, we have Battlefront for that and Rogue Squadron is for flying. I hope that mistake won't be made. - I hope Nintendo sees flying in space is still a great concept, so they'd finally make Star Fox Wii. Just with a good title, not put 'Wii' behind it like with Mario Kart. |

I don't think it was a mistake to add ground battles in Rouge Squadron. Battlefront added space levels when its mostly a ground fighting game. But, yeah, I agree. Rouge Squadron 4 should be a Wii exclusive, instead of being on a 360 and PS3. |

Umm... I'll give you a good list of Wii's accomplishments. -Super Mario Galaxy -The Wii's Motion sensitive Control -The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess -Metorid Prime Trilogy -The Virtual Console -The Wii has sold more then the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 -The Wii console is backward compatible with all official Nintendo GameCube software, as well as Nintendo GameCube Memory Cards and controllers. Unlike the 360, which only plays a select few or original xbox games. And the PS3 no longer supports this either. -The graphics are just fine on the Wii. Its just that some developers are too stupid and lazy to make their games look good on the Wii, and thus they frame the Wii for poor graphic support, when really, its all their fault. So, yeah. The Wii has a very good reputation as one of the best consoles of this generation. Although, if Rouge Squadron does get released on the 360 and PS3, then I can still buy the game. Seeing how I've got both a Wii and 360. |

I had a very very very long disscussion with a friend of mine about this...the wii is inferior to the 360 or the ps3. I'm pretty sure that there's a backwards compatible ps3. I'm about to buy it so... The wii sells more than the ps3 or 360 because most parents find it more appropriate for the family. Thats all. It doesn't mean it's better. The motion sensative controls are terrible Mario galaxy is only alright Twilight princess...well that game's alright actualy pretty good. I'll give you that So the wii has a few good games doesn't make it terrific. Look at the Seahawks. Had a string of good seasons, one great season, and a great player. Last year, they didn't even make the playoffs. What I'm saying is, I guess the wii's average. But it doesn't compare to either the 360 or the ps3. And if rogue squadron is released on the wii, it will only reach half potiental. Now the gamecube, that was a real console... |

Not all versions of the PS3 are backwards compatible. And the Wii's graphics capabilities aren't bad, they're a bit less, but they're more than the Gamecube could offer, and you can hardly call that pixelated. Also, the perfect example of graphics is Super Smash Bros Brawl, the Wii's graphics could look great if the 3th party developers put time in their products. Also, games like the new Punch Out prove that if you make graphics in a clever way, they don't have to look good. Actually, gameplay is more important than graphics, and the Wii nailed that one. I mean...most people judge the wii-mote just by how it looks, and are too lazy to even pick it up, or just played Wii Sports with it. Well I can tell you that it's different. It's Nintendo's way of thinking of new stuff. And seeing as how Sony's going to come up with the Wand and Microsoft even troughs the controller out in it's entirety (which sucks) we begin to see that Nintendo's idea's make more sense to Microsoft and Sony than you so called 'hardcore' gamers. I think Nintendo is trying to balance out hardcore and casual. But I say let's drop those titles, gamers are gamers. I play both hardcore and casual. Too much casual is dumb, and too much hardcore is flower. Then something called 'variation' kicks in. True, the Wii has over 1000 minigame collections, but you need to look past them, minigames are fun, just pick the right games. And the Wii isn't entirely minigames mania as a lot of people think. Heck it has a load of 'regular' games. And it seems to me that the PS3 and Xbox360 seem to focus a lot on shooters, which sucks because there's so much more. I'm not saying the 360 and PS3 only have shooters, I'm just saying that people spend too much time playing those calling themselves hardcore. Those people *points at a fat dude in his mother's garage* need to get a live. 'Gamersscore' huh? Cheers to you, but back in the day gaming was about FUN, it wasn't serious. People say Nintendo has gotten to soft. But in the past they made Mario too, and it was also pretty easy to master. Nintendo didn't change much, the gamers did, you did. Not to take it on much of a personal level but I think that games should be balanced out. People that think motion control sucks should look at last E3, and see that they get abandoned by Sony and Microsoft. Personally, very personally, I think Microsoft should stop their Xbox line. I mean, sure it sells like crazy but with Google comming up challenging Windows, Microsoft should start paying attention to what they used to do. I know most of you disagree with me on that one. As for the Playstation line, it started at the SNES addon that was never made. But Sony did it right, unlike Philips, and went on with their own console, and I think they truely outdid themselves with the PS2, but I think the Xbox and PS are trying to be too much alike. One of them has to go. And I say Xbox. Again, if any of you hate me for this. Go ahead, hate me. But this is what I think. Can't change it. The Wii sells like crazy and now Sony and Microsoft try to copy and even make their controllers MORE motion controlled. So if you won't see, then the publishers will. Games are about fun, not serious business, you may think that the Wii is too immature, but it isn't, it's fun. And if fun for you means better graphics and games that take itself too serious, go ahead, but remember back 20 years ago. Graphics were not as good as now, did you complain? No, we only had 2D and most games were platformers. Now we have the ability to advance, in both graphics and gameplay, Nintendo chose gameplay above graphics, and as the first Super Mario Bros proved, it's the right choice, too bad a lot of people don't see that. As for Sega, Sonic needs to get reanimated. Ever since the jump to 3D he's on life support, I understand them quitting with making consoles but then at least get your mascot's games right. |
