Dark Horse replaced by Marvel Comics; Star Wars comics will now be published by marvel

As of yesterday, Marvel Comics is going to become the new Star Wars comic publisher, replacing Dark Horse comics after it's 20 year "reign" with the Star Wars comic franchise. What do you guys think about this decision?

I myself really thought Dark Horse did an EXCELLENT job in recreating the Star Wars universe with their comics, and their comic line will be hard to beat, even by marvel. I think it was a smart move by Disney as they own both Marvel and Lucasarts

As a long time reader of all thing Star Wars, I'm afraid of what Disney will do to the all inclusive Star Wars timeline. Every single comic book and short story is connected to the timeline.
However, since the Clone Wars and the ever expanding minutia of Rebellion era short stories and comic books that have flooded a once pristine flow of event, I have stopped reading all together.
I loved the Knights of the Old Republic series, but the Old Republic series didn't create anyone or do anything really. I wasn't crazy about the Legacy storyline, and the Empire storyline didn't do much either.
I think they really dropped the ball by not exploring more of the New Republic era, and converting more of the novels into comics.
I have no idea what Marvel will do with the franchise. I hate a lot of the artist who draw these days. I don't know why they can't just stick to a solid type of art? Some of the newer comics I've seen look really bad. It's like they are drawn as a dream instead of a reality. I haven't read anything but Star Wars comics since 1994. Right when they started messing with the Incredible Hulk. Glad I never had to read about him becoming a savage or Red(?)!
Good luck Marvel, but please stick to story, and not some ass-backwards artistic drawling style!

Knowing both Marvel and DC, sometimes they go off the rails....I not sure about this, I HOPE it goes well, but I doubt it...
