Hmm. I've barely even heard of that one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't really develop that either. More likely they used a third party engine like with Republic Commando. Hell, they even outsourced a lot of The Force Unleashed. They're just not the old school LucasArts anymore, the one that created an entire genre from scratch. |

You can hate on Lucasarts all you want, but TOR is being developed by Bioware. You know, the guys who made Kotor and Mass Effect 2. They don't make "rubbish." |

Kinda tough to say whether this is good or bad news... new people leading, one terrible title brought to an end. Then again, they've also closed off all work with other companies, and supposedly the staff aren't too happy with the new management. We'll just have to wait and see what Meegan's intentions are, and what he can produce. |

Seems this guy has been all over the place. Epic and Ubisoft are good companies; no doubt Meegan is qualified for the position at LA. |

I still don't get why you guys hate TFU so much. Was it a great game? No. But it wasn't terrible either. You talk about it like no one likes it, but obviously that isn't the case or it wouldn't have sold several million copies. I did think it was unnecessary for them to do a sequel, but if you're going to make two, you might as well make three. I just hope the second one doesn't end in a cliffhanger that we'll never see the conclusion to. |

BioWare is a great company. Just because you don't want a KotOR-era MMO doesn't mean they suck. |

Alright, so this may not "exactly" be good news, but I'd like to think of it as a good news, bad news scenario. The good news is that once Force Unleashed II is released, the series will no longer exist in video game format anymore. The bad news, however, is that external Star Wars development will be downright canceled, and that LucasArts will be an internal developer, similar to E.A, and Ubisoft (two of the worlds "evil" cooperation out there). On a related note, however, I do hate The Old Republic, and The Force Unleashed, along with the countless amount of Clone War games. And I have a reason for this hatred as well. ![]() First, and foremost, The Force Unleashed steals, and rips off game-play elements from the JediKnight series, and down-grades them to attract the lower intelligent individuals from our society. They then later milk the game to it's last source of breath before it dies out with the crowd by releasing useless DLC packages that only creates an illusion of "fun". In actuality, however, it basically wastes your time by providing extra repetitive hours of nonsensical game-play that only has you force pushing countless amount of imperial troops. Which is also the reason why the single-player mode fails. There simply isn't any variety. Second, the characters, and the main story-line are written abysmally. Starkiller has the personality of a banana, and Juno has the personality of an apple, which makes the two of them the most uninteresting characters, and romantic plot in the history of Star Wars, and the history of Video Game writing. That could potentially be an exaggeration by me, but to be honest, that's how I truly feel about the game's cast of characters. And the story-line doesn't make up for it either. Darth Vader embarks upon a vague mission, and kills a random Jedi, and finds out that his son is powerful in the ways of the force. Years passes, and the son grows up to be Vader's bitch, and performs tedious tasks that Vader himself can easily do all by himself. Later on, Starkiller betrays his fetish Master, and is assumed to be dead, only for him to wake up and start up a rebellion against the Imperial Empire. Then he goes back to Vader, fights him, and then kill's himself to protect an uninteresting cast of hostages that nobody really cares about. Now I honestly don't care about the game's plot, but if there's one thing bothers me about it, it's that Starkiller's death leads to the foundation of the Rebel Alliance, which is complete bollocks. We have no references to this in the films, and the whole idea is rubbish to begin with in the first place. As for The Old Republic, I'm pretty sure it's obvious on why I hate it. It replaced KotOR III, and destroyed any hopes of a "proper" KotOR II sequel. Furthermore, it destroyed story-line ideas in the previous KotOR games by retconning them out of existences. A perfect example of this is Revan serving under a generic Sith Empire. And BioWare (a company that is overrated) developing TOR is no excuse for the rubbish quality it'll contain. |

TOR - in my opinion - really did destroy KOTOR's storylines. I want to know what the hell the threat was that Revan left the Republic to stop I want to know why he told Canderous to unite the Mandalorians I want to know if the Exile found Revan I want to know more about the "unknown regions" Need I list more? Because I can with no problem at all . . . |

I understand these are the answers 1. He was seeking the Sith Empire that comes back in TOR after his memories of it came back. 2. Because the Mandalorians could have been a strong force against the Sith Empire and Revan could unite them and the Republic based on Mandalore's respect for him. 3. Unknown. This should be answered in due enough time. 4. Some things don't need to be answered. It is just left to our imagination. We need to know details like in Reven and Exile met, but we really don't need to know to much about the unknown regions other than they are where a sith empire is building. And the guys in TOR are the 'True Sith' I guess. |
