I know this is better than a remake, if there is ever a remake I give up on humanity, but are they going to set it decades after ROTJ and use the original cast, or recast them and set it maybe just a decade after ROTJ? so many questions... |

I was wondering the same thing in an earlier post. I know there have been rumors over the years about it being a few decades after ROTJ, would feature Luke Skywalker, and would be about rebuilding the Republic. How it actually plays out though is anyone's guess. As long as no Disney characters make a cameo, I won't have to throw something at the screen! |

Pay Harrison Ford a boat load of money. Kill him off in the first ten minutes. BAM. |

I bet George will still get a cut from anything Disney does with Star Wars, thats why the price was only 4 Billion. |

http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-talk/h...-185829069.html Just read that Harrison Ford is interested now in more SW movies, and Hamill and Fisher would be to. Take this how you want, but it does give a little more insight into the possibilities for future films.. |

Michael Arndt has been confirmed to write the screenplay for Episode VII. It's a strange choice considering he only has two movies under his belt: Little Miss Sunshine and Toy Story 3. Source: http://starwars.com/news/michael-arndt-to-...pisode-vii.html |

You mean to tell me they couldn't have found a more reputable writer? Well atleast Paul W.S. Anderson isn't the writer, if that were the case, all of the original cast would just stand around while Milla Jovovich does a bunch of slo mo action sequences |

"I've left pretty explicit instructions for there not to be any more features. There will definitely be no Episodes VII-IX. That's because there isn't any story. I mean, I never thought of anything. And now there have been novels about the events after Episode VI, which isn't at all what I would have done with it. The Star Wars story is really the tragedy of Darth Vader. That is the story. Once Vader dies, he doesn't come back to life, the Emperor doesn't get cloned and Luke doesn't get married..." - George Lucas, May 2008 |

Did anyone see the South Park finale? The election and Disney SW takeover seem to be the hottest two threads right now. South Park married the two in the finale. Pretty funny. |

There's a rumour floating around that Darth Vader will be back for the new Star Wars film... I've seen it in a few places, but here's a link. |
