| Welcome, and thank you for taking time to register to Kaijudo Central. Kaijudo Central Rules Here at Kaijudo Central, we strive to create the ideal community for fans, both young and mature, of Kaijudo that they may enjoy everything they love about this game. To accomplish this, we have a few simple rules for you to follow. As we are a community with members of age 15+, it should go without typing what you should not do in this setting, but nonetheless they shall be mentioned. Remember: THESE ARE THE RULES, YOU ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TO THEM WHETHER YOU READ THEM OR NOT. As a member, by joining this message board, you agree that you will not use this board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or would otherwise violate any law. To break any rules will imbue punishment at our Staff's discretion, both minor and major; think about what you post or do on this board before doing so. Spamming Contributing little to no content to a thread is not germane to the purpose of this message board. By doing this, you cause burden to conversations and hurt discussions. Doing this is irrelevant and will not be tolerated; if you act like a nuisance by not making a point (like spamming one-liners, such as "yeah" or "OK", POSTING IN ALL CAPS, OR quoting another member and then not add anything else,) you will be treated as such. Flaming No one registered to this board to be attacked for any reason, especially but not limited to racism, sexism, trolling (posting flamebait), derogatory comments, inappropriate behavior, etc. These activities are not allowed in posts, signatures, avatars, custom titles, social groups, etc., and especially do not post a member's personal details/appearances unless you have their expressed consent. To do so will be handled with extreme measures as it is detrimental to our community, so be wary of this and avoid this at all costs. Note: Do not be argumentative just to argue. If you have something to suggest, then suggest it. Beating Staff over the head with lawyerman-wannabe interpretations of the rules is trolling in itself, and will be handled accordingly. Post Content This message board is about a trading card game, so it should be expressed that there shouldn't be any of the following, but not limited to: strong adult language, sexually explicit content, plagiarism, illegal activities (filesharing using P2P protocols, adult content, child pornography, etc.) If you post any content that is illegal to the extent of the law, you will be reported without warning. Remember that! A majority of members on this board have a vision ranging from 20:20 to 20:70, so keep that in mind and do not post images that exceed the size of the post container. You will be asked to reduce the size of said image and warned; repeated offenses will be resolved as desired by Staff. Signatures and Avatars Keep your signature at a reasonable size. Limit yourself to 2 large images (400 by 100 pixels or less) and 4 small images (100 by 100 pixels or less) as a maximum, and respect the post containers. If you have an excessive number of quotes, use spoiler tags to reduce the overall size. If your signature is too large, the staff can ask you to reduce the size at their discretion. Failure to do so can and probably will result in a loss of signature privileges. Avatars' maximum size is 100 by 100 pixels. We encourage members to be reasonable and keep smaller-sized avatars, especially animated gif avatars; people on slow connections will suffer from trying to load them. Double Posting, Bumping, and Necroing Please refrain from posting two times in a row on the same topic. We have an edit button for that reason. If you accidentally double post, edit the information out and instead input "Delete This" and Staff shall handle it. Repeated offenses will be dealt with at the Staff's discretion. Posting to a thread for the expressed interest of bumping it (such as your trade thread) should only be done if it has gone inactive for 24 hours. Remember that you have a signature and could place a link to your trade thread at any time; your thread doesn't need to be seen as the last post made every second and you will be warned or worse if you abuse this privilege. Do not post in old inactive threads unless you have something worthwhile to contribute to the thread (like if a new season of a show is about to begin,) or if you have insight or unique knowledge to add to an older discussion. You will be asked to not necro a thread if you've done so outside of the above reason; just don't do it. Advertising If you have your own message board, website, You-Tube Channel, Facebook, Twitter, etc., unless specified in a thread that you may post your personal stuff, limit these things to your signature. And please refrain from PM advertising as we didn't want to be spammed by your desire to improve traffic to the above items; if you are reported and caught PM advertising, you WILL lose your Private Messaging privileges and they will not be reinstated until the Staff desires so. Language We're maintaining a PG-13 community so avoid obscene profanity and offensive content; be age appropriate. Furthermore, do NOT link via threads, posts, or signature to any illegal content, warez, etc. Backseat Modding Staff exists to handle all of the discrepancies and tough questions on KC so refrain from doing our job. We keep things running smoothly so you could post as you so choose. If you wish to help, if you see a post that breaks the rules, click the "Report Post" button. You can also PM a Staff member or contact us on Skype if you feel the matter is urgent and you require an instant response. Do not lecture the person, post what forum it should be in, or that the thread is going to become locked. That is our job, not yours. Now that we've established the ground works for a friendly, stable message board community, keep in mind that these rules are global, as in they should be considered when posting in any forum alongside their respective guide-lines. Do this and there will be no problems. Thank you for reading, and have fun around the community! |
