The reference thread is to calculate your reputation in the Kaijudo Central trading forum. If you wish to prove you're a good trader, you're gonna have to start trading with others. Every time a successful trade is made and both parties get what they wanted, each person leaves a positive post to their Reference Thread (which should be titled with your name,) with a link to the post(s) of the trade (in the thread, click the Post # in the top-right of the post itself to get the link.) Negative refs are incurred by lack of communication ranging from a week after the initial trade confirmation or the trade being sent and not heard back from (see the Trading Section Guidelines for Fraud.) Refs determine who sends first. More refs means the other trader sends first, less refs means you send first, and if both have equal refs, both send at the same time. You may also consult the Middle Man to ensure a safe trade between the parties. Be sure to include a link to your Reference Thread in the first post of your Trade Thread for fellow traders to view your credentials. |
