Too Much Wit, Not Enough _____

You remember Daniel Tack right? The same examiner fellow that showcased the Mighty Shouter, Essence Elf, and kaiO before launch of the Battle Decks? Yeah, well he was given another preview to share with the rest of us on Forbes; feast your eyes at Scaradorable the Hunter:

So when you say it's the inside that counts, Freaky (YamiMichael's nickname for this form) turns inside-out, stopping lesser creatures in her tracks. With Intimidate (really, MTG mechanic name...,) she shuts down creatures from attacking or blocking that are level 2 or less so Rush decks don't have as many attack options until they can deal with her. At Level 5, she won't fall to the usual suspects except for the standard anything goes removal + Tornado Flame.

Anyhoo, what do you guys think of Freaky? While you're at it, give a thanks to Daniel for yet another excellent preview on his Forbes article page (Source above...)

Amazing art. Absolutely stunning.

The effect isn't doing it for me right now, but that may change if we see any sort of super fast rush deck catch on. Seems like a great anti-rush hate card.

My first mini-album titled "Napoleon"

Sun-stalk seed and skeeter swarmer will not be so cool anymore.

And somewhere, [card]Frogzooka[/card] began to cry tears of joy.

I'm not really sure that's the cards you really need to target with this. I'm thinking this will be more of a threat to rush than anything running little blockers. If people play this to "stop" Skeeter, Sun Stalk, and Reef Eye people will switch to Star Lantern and Flouragill Manta.

I'm enjoying this card. It can be so versatile. Stop rush decks from taking you out, and puts a huge dent in decks that use a lot of cheap blockers.

Really cool card. It will definitely stop rush and cards like [card]Skeeter Swarmer[/card]. I wonder if they'll make more rush cards because I see rush lacking in Kaijudo.

For a creature body it certainly seems interesting :)

I like her. Not as much as I like her Bat-Breath version, but should rush decks prove popular and more viable w/ the base set than they are now will be nice to have this silver bullet. If they prove as problematic as they were w/ Duelmasters this may be another lesson card like [card]Writhing Bone Ghoul[/card] and [card]Hydrobot Crab[/card].
