I'm sure the answers will vary greatly. I haven't studied every card yet to give a difinitive answer, but I'll post mine tonight probably. What's everyone's top card in each Civilization? |

I'm not familiar with every card out right now so I'll post mine later too. Off the top of my head, [card]Gilaflame, the Assaulter[/card] is probably the best Fire card right now. |

<3 Essence Elf. The new effect is SO much better than in Duel Masters. It's so easy to summon too. edit: some early front runners for me are: -Bat-Breath Scaradorable -Alcadeus, Winged Justice -Hovercraft Glu-urrgle Edited by matt, Sep 14 2012, 08:40 AM.

The old effect was better in Duel Masters. Power-based abilities got worse as time went on. |

[card]Keeper of Dawn[/card] - With all the new 4 cost spells like [card]Bone Blades[/card], being able to reuse them is just amazing. Cast a spell on turn 4, play Keeper of Dawn on turn 5, then recast that spell the following turn is very good progression. [card]Logos Scan[/card] - The new turn 3 is now turn 4 and since this is a 3 cost spell, you'll almost always be able to play something good on your 4th turn. Everything else got nerfed by 1 cost ([card]Bronze-Arm Tribe[/card] is now a level 4), but they kept this (a.k.a. Energy Stream) the same. [card]Voidwing[/card] - When this guy dies, you're at +1. He can kill any threat in the game including cards like [card]Quillspike Tatsurion[/card] and [card]Zagaan, the Bone Knight[/card]. He's safe from 4 cost creature removal spells and he keeps your opponent from attacking/blocking him. [card]Gilaflame the Assaulter[/card] - This card is just awesome. He gets past [card]Skeeter Swarmer[/card] and since he returns to your hand, the only things that can stop him are blockers, shield blasts, and hand discard. Hand discard got a bit nerfed too, so now you can choose which card to discard instead of having to discard at random. If you play [card]Logos Scan[/card], on turn 3, you'll almost always have another card to discard while at the same time probably drawing Gilaflame for the turn 4 play. [card]Bestial Rage Tatsurion[/card] - I think he's alright. He's great for aggressive decks. In time, we'll probably see better nature cards. Cards like [card]Essence Elf[/card] are good too, but I don't think Essence Elf's effect is enough to make it the best nature card. Edited by RedRaptor10, Sep 15 2012, 10:39 AM.

[card]Keeper of Dawn[/card] Already good and all but guaranteed to only get better. Close runner up is [card]Stormspark Blast[/card] which is always something I expect to see when I play against an opponent playing Light. [card]Logos Scan[/card] More resources are a very good thing. [card]Reef Prince Glu-urrgle[/card] is a contender but often there are much more important turn 5 plays, and Logos can be played a lot sooner. [card]Razorkinder Puppet[/card] Knowing what you have to deal makes taking out future threats even easier to be prepared for. And you get to remove the worst threat they have from their hand. [card]Gigastand[/card] is really strong in the early game and potentially a higher + play then [card]Fumes[/card] but both just don't have the impact that Razorkinder does in the mid game. [card]Gilaflame the Assaulter[/card] Can't really argue against his well deserved status as so far everyones pick for Fire. [card]Skycrusher's Elite[/card] is a card to be wary of in rush decks that have a long term game plan. I was able to drop 3 fast attackers today on turn 6 because of his ability. [card]Razorhide[/card] If you're playing Nature you're likely wanting to ramp. While this poor guy dies to every removal spell and ability, like Gigastand he can potentially net you his effect for more than just +1. I'd have to say [card]Karate Carrot[/card] is all but tied w/ Razorhide for me because his Powerful Attack helps him blow through most low level blockers or at least trade. And lets face it, he is Unsclicable. Edited by WanderingCaptain3972, Sep 15 2012, 11:40 PM.
