Attack Raptor

The first card is very promising but the second card is idk...I mean I'd rather use Gilaflame and in a multi-civ deck. He isn't bad though because having 2 or 3 of him and 3 Gilaflames would be pretty devastating in a mono fire rush/assault deck. And he's definitely better than Draglide in mono fire.

Well, wow, i'm pretty fond of that Drakon Warchief. The artwork is really amazing, and the effect is pretty decent. I meant, 4 for 3000 power, at worst, is still okay. Now if we compare it directly to its nature counterpart, it's out on turn 4, and i feel it can still fit in a double civilisation/colored deck. Why ? because, depending on your hand and play, you can/will mostly play rush thingy card on the early turns. AANND, once it's fast attacker effect is gone (aka warchief' second turn in play), well, who care if he's down to 3000 again ? And Drakon have their +2000 supporter.

Now, well ... i'm pretty much disapointed by Silver Fist. I meant okay, it's really down the nature part, typicall raw power plus double breaker. But ... he's just .. Splinterclaw Wasp with one thousand more base power. And there, it's level 5 make all the difference. Yes with nature, you can accelerate mana, but if you're counting on sprout and razorhide's quillspike harvest while playing a double civ'/color deck, you're not completly sure you'll stick with green mana all the time ...

I'm really waiting to see what the other three's "Heart of --" effect will be. It seem very interesting so far, even with the downside on a pure deck.

I WANT to use Silver Fist in my Beast Kin Ramp, i REALLY do... problem is? I have so many better options at level 5... Quilspike Tatsurion, Mighty Shouter, the Shaman, and honestly, Raging Goliant to name a few. Level 5 Beast Kins have a lot of good creatures, this guy needed to be awesome to do it - and he's just kinda eh.

Drakon Warchief is nothing special... At best, he's a Gilaflame that doesn't bounce at the end of the turn. Thats half the reason I LOVE Gilaflame.
I'd be willing to test him out in my Drakon deck I'm going to do, but I'm not expecting much - he just doesn't seem to fill a hole that Drakons have, especially at level 4 where Gilaflame resides.

Well splinterclaw's ability is Powerful Attack which only gives him a boost when he is attacking versus Silver Fist who will have that boost even when he isnt attacking so a five for eight creature that isnt an evolution is pretty nice and even better with Raging Goliant

So, after adding a couple of Silverfist to my beast kin ramp and just doing test hands... I find myself loving what he does for it. 8000 power double breaker for 5 mana... so possibly hitting on turn 4? This is a card thats def so much better in practice, and I totally under-rated him. Silverfist and Bronze Arm Sabertooth alone make Beast-Kin Ramp a VERY strong deck. One I'm looking to perfect this weekend!
