Holy crap Emperor Neuron looks awesome. Like a Crystal Lancer/Aqua Seneschal mix. Cyber Trader looks pretty good too so you can get what you want early on. Play Cyber Trade on turn 2, use its effect to thin your deck a little, evolve it into Emperor Neuron next turn. That's going to be a lot of fun. |

yeah moreover, i think emperor's meant to be its worst enemy itself ... i mean, imagine if the opponement is only relying on water to get it back to your hand (being level 3 he's a living target for ice blade), well he'll think about it twice before sending the little lord back to hand. Furthermore if he got evolved from a trader or an hydro spy ... that's a crazy encore ! if we see more liquid people comming in the next set, bouncing your card isn't going to take a spell slot (aka veil vortex/ice blade) and it'll render the mechanic like totally hot. So much that i may try a water/nature when that happen. otherwise, just wanted confirmation but : the evos card are totally bound to what they're put on, rite ? that mean, if one play root trap or return to the soil on an evo, the 2 get in your mana zone, correct ? |

Correct. Any type of removal will remove both cards to where the spell dictates (graveyard for bone blade/terror pit/ tornado flame, hand for ice blade/veil vortex/ teleport, and mana for return to the soil/ root trap). It's unfortunate that there are so many ways to remove Emperor from play, but if I'm remembering correctly, he is the biggest creature that hits the battlefield turn 3. I still plan on testing him very extensively. Edited by ZodiacLion, Oct 23 2012, 12:52 AM.

I think Emeperor is pretty awesome. And the card you discard with Trader? You could always bring that back later with Keeper of Dawn or Dark Return - as long as you're playing those colors. Overall I think both are pretty solid cards, and turn 2 Trader, turn 3 Emperor is going to be SO ANNOYING TO DEAL WITH! I can't wait to do it! XD These cards are making me want to preorder a couple of boxes.... |
