This has got to be one of the worst designed cards I have ever seen out of Kaijudo. The name and art screem Red Card, and yet it's printed on green. Yeah, I get it's supposed to be a union of fire and nature but, unification is not evolution. This is a duel-civ card more than anything, and should have been printed in the duel civ set. Instead it takes up the super slot that Duel-Fang should have occupied. Okay, so maybe WotC thinks Duel Fang is too good. But seriously, was Quillspike 2.0 the best you could come up with for the Green Evo? Jeez... |

Sad to say, but I have to agree. Still a good card. |

Why couldn't they just have kept Fighter Dual Fang in the Green SR slot? If the effect was too good, why couldn't they just have nerfed it, like they've done with several cards like Corile, by turning it into Milporo?

Strong creature but it will still die to a removal effect like any other big beater. Still better than [card]Wrist-Rockets Tatsurion[/card]. :: Face palm::

Dies to removal is a horrible arguement. Everyone said that about Quillspike Tatsuion. "Oh it dies to Tornado Flame." Look how that turned out. Being resilient to all creatures is an ability to not be underestimated. Not to mention this guy dodges Death Smoke, and comes down a turn before Terror Pit, or even 2 turns earlier if you ramp. So chances are he put in some work before he hits the bin. |

Agreed, "Dies to Removal" is a moot point - at this point all creatures are going to die to some form of removal, period. However, the argument that he ONLY dies to removal, now that's very relevant. VERY Relevant. Played in a ramp deck especially, this guy is just going to hit things at least once. And there is PLENTY of beast kin bait that is very playable - Razorhide and Bronze Arm Tribe are 2 of the best early game Beast-kins that are screaming to be used as Evo Bait. I actually would really like to get my hands on 2 of this when it comes out to use in my current Beast Kin Ramp. |

At first glace, I was just as disappointed as everyone else that we didn't get the Dual Fang reprint. But I actually like him now. The only removal that is going to kill him can't be played for at least one more turn after he is played, and the fact that he has 14K power when battling is huge. And people were worried about Evo Fury. I think this guy is going to be a bigger threat because of the aforementioned things. |

The card is growing on me some but I still prefer my creatures to have some beneficial ability other than just being a big bruiser. My face palm emoting was much more about the fail of Wrist Rockets Tatsurion. Flamespike definitely improve the necessity of water cards for their bounce or a handful of other cards that can truly either banish him or turn him into mana. Being an evo it's far above and beyond as a finisher than other big double breakers so he will improve peoples end game. Glad we only have to wait one more week.
