Too Much Wit, Not Enough _____

So we've known about this evolution since the announcement at least a month ago and while we thought we knew everything about it, David Leavitt at Examiner tweets us a final look at Ra-Vu the Stormbringer: http://www.examiner.com/article/evo-fury-super-rare-ra-vu-the-stormbringer-is-an-epic-evolution-creature The new bits of information include its 11000 Power and that his final ability, "Eye of the Storm," isn't an on-attack tap effect but a passive ability that makes all of your creatures Blockers. With this information, Ra-Vu the Stormbringer stands at: ------------------ Ra-Vu the Stormbringer (Evolution Creature -- Skyforce Champion) Light | Level 6 11000 Power Evolution -- Put on one of your Skyforce Champions. Double Breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields.) Lightning Vortex -- At the end of each of your turns, untap all creatures you control. Eye of the Storm -- All your creatures have "Blocker." (You may tap a creature that has "blocker" to change an enemy creature's attack to it.) ------------------ Thoughts? |

Neptas specifies that it can't be targeted. The blocker reminder text does not include the word "target." |

I purchased three of the Tornado Generator decks immediately so that I could try out different numbers with this card and see where I could get. I have yet to find a significant use for him in any of the decks that I have attempted. That being said, I have more ideas and will most likely post about them when I get the chance to thoroughly test them. I'm just avoiding a hasty call on the card either for or against. |

Trade Thread I'm giving my own tiny shop a try, just to see if there is enough interest in the product to sustain it. Consider it a little project of mine. Any and all support helps me expand so that I can start providing Kaijudo cards at competitive rates in higher quantities! FM54's Kaijudo Sales | |

I'm not sure if I would want to run more than one, maybe two. I have a L/N agro-ish/control-ish that I keep tossing around an might consider putting him in. But definitely post if you find anything that works. |

I am going to try him out when I get my Light/Nature deck going. My friend has most of my light cards for the moment. |

I just wanted to have enough to try everything. No harm in an extra or two sitting around.

I've tested him quite a bit in casual play. If you're going for control in just about any form he's good to have, assuming your opponent doesn't hold Crimson Wyvern etc, otherwise he seems to be one of those cards that's nice to have in a deck but isn't quite useful often enough to make him a high priority on my builds. |

So he is a Waterspout Gargoyle? =P (I love it, I own it, but I still can't justify putting it in my control over Milporo >.<. I guess Raiza made me love top of deck bounce too much XD). I think one of the main downfalls of the card is that he makes all your creatures easier to kill. I mean if he ever becomes a popular card, people will just use a ton of Comet Missile, Bolgash Dragon, or Crimson Wyvern. I still laugh whenever I Comet Missile a Ra-Vu, Seeker of Lightning. Still, he is the ultimate "just when you think things can't get worse after the Starlight Strategist" play =p |

Yep that's about right lol. Exactly, as a card and nothing more, I love his abilities and structure. In terms of usability he loses out most of the time though :/ |

I'd say it's a good one of tech that you could use for surprise factor. Although, Crimson Wyvern is also a good surprise one of tech, so, it's kind of one of those sort of deals lol. |
