*sigh* Yet another tatsurion card. It's a decent card though. Helps alot when top-decking. You top-deck him, summon, no cards in hand, you just got a moderately heavy hitter on the field.

Decks:
Eluding Abyss
Fight!
Shields holding!

Yeah, another tats...but still, not too bad of a card for aggro control. Can't really meld him in with a water deck since they tend to draw and keep your hand replenished. He's probably good for Fire/Nature decks since their decks seem to not keep a full hand (the exception being with Reap and Sow).

Its a cheaper dragon. Happy for that. Possibility for Double Breaker and non targeting. In a deck that just wants to overload the field with powerful creatures. I can see this.

Will likely combo very well with Dauntless Tusker. I think 5 is as cheap as we can or should expect to see for a dragon of any type. Being any lower level than that takes away from being a Dragon. Only exception would be for Dragon Evos. Though again I don't think they'll get any cheaper even for those than a 5 cost. Least it keeps the level limited removal from being effective against them.

Flametropus had a similar little catch where the ability only worked if you had no cards in your hand and Flametropus has not seen much play to my knowledge. If you are playing rush however and are constantly putting out cards onto the field you may just be able to make this guy work. But this card will most likely be used as evo bait

I agree. Most rush decks don't want to go that high in cost. If they do, it is a 1 of at most. Otherwise, they just become aggro decks. I can see this working with mono red, but not as rush I think. Evo bait is likely as well as a Dragon deck that powers cards out to the field.

Flametropus ability activated when it was the only creature in the battlezone. I feel like this card has the most potential Fire/Nature rush as was mentioned, because that's the most likely deck scenario to have an empty hand. Time will tell how useful it is or will become.
