Saying that the deck will be flawed because it will be built by some other criteria sounds a bit biased to me. It's only strange and sounds bad because there is no precedent for it.

Of course you will run ramp in a Bottle deck. Also Keeper of Dawn. If I can play a deck with 20+ high cost fat creatures and STILL have a good early game because of Bottle and accel then that doesn't sound like a bad strategy to me.

And when the Spells will be either draw or accel it's a positive gain every day. By the time you have high mana you can just topdeck and spam high cost stuff non-stop, you no longer need it or you use it to play more stuff at once/reach some other card.

A better way to look at this card is that it makes ramp decks MORE stable because it gives you an alternate progression.

The strategy itself isn't that random but you will need A LOT of very exact card choices to make the best versions of it. It will easily be a Tier 2 deck and I think a lot of people will aim for it once its secrets are figured out.

I see what you mean CVH, but if you're playing it right then you're playing it when there is a lack of creatures on your side of the field or if you NEED to get a trap/pit. And if you got it as a shieldblast, there's going to have to be at least 1 creature on the field for it to be broken, granted I would want a trap/pit for a finisher not a Blaze Belcher...
Decks:
Eluding Abyss
Fight!
Shields holding!
W/F rush
My trade thread and ref thread.

I'll say one thing, at least with the way my WDL dragons are built as of now, it is never dead and almost always is a good play from hand or shield

CVH has hit this card in the bud. Really isn't that good, honestly. Test it before you say some comitted deck will work with it. I guarantee it's luck factor is going to throw you off every time.
