Hi, guys. This is Tacho (the same one from Pojo) and I figured I might as well start posting on Kaijudo Central! Seeing as this is my first post here, I decided to go ahead and just make it a deck list. I've been screwing around with DWL a bit since 7CLA dropped, and out of all the possible card combinations and strategies there were to try out, this one just seemed to fit my personal playstyle the best and was the most solid in testing. Here's the list: Light: 17 3x Andromeda of the Citadel 3x Lyra, the Blazing Sun 2x Dorado, Golden Dragon 2x Keeper of Dawn 2x Keeper of Laws 3x Lux 2x Stormspark Blast Darkness: 15 1x Dracothane of the Abyss 2x Dreadclaw, Dark Herald 2x Scaradorable of Gloom Hollow 3x Terror Pit 3x Bone Blades 3x Mesmerize 1x Dark Return Water: 10 2x General Finbarr 2x Nix 3x Logos Scan 2x Spy Mission 1x Crystal Memory Multi-Civ: 6 2x Squillace Scourge 2x Aqua Strider 2x Grip of Despair Total: 48 Creatures: 26 Blockers: 4 Spells: 20 Shield Blasts: 14 Basic idea is to attack the opponent once you have Keeper of Laws on board, and then from there just punish them. There are some really cool progressions with this deck like Nix > Keeper of Laws > Dorado > General Finbarr. This allows you to draw cards at a steady pace while you attack them, forcing them out of their element. Then, once its time to go for game, drop Squillace Scourge and then bring it home. Since Keeper of Laws cannot be targeted, and then draws 1 for each spell the opponent casts, he can really just get in your opponents face and make shield blasts not be a big deal. Dorado is also a cool card that slaps the slow control player, since they just generally do not like to attack. So there's the deck. Any input will be appreciated! |

I demand card tags! [card][/card] around every perfectly typed card. |

I don't want to start an argument, but I think they can put card tags if they want to or not. Most the time you SHOULD know what they're talking about. If not, it's not too hard to simply look it up. Back on topic, I would say to add another Crystal Memory, it seems it would be useful here. I would only have one Dorado though, I'm still not sure how good that card is in this deck. Same with Dreadclaw, he could be bumped to one IMO. I'm not sure just what to cut, but I think that the deck should be only 45 cards if possible. |

So, we should have all of the cards memorized in order to help or should we have to have another window open to look up individual cards because the op didn't want to use card tags? That's not to mention that new players might want to see how the deck works and putting them through more hoops to do so will only discourage them. It's not that hard to simply use card tags. But you are right, if they don't want to use card tags they don't have to. They shouldn't be surprised if they get less responses since using card tags is a common courtesy that more than a few posters appreciate. That said, I do agree with your advice. Perhaps he should increase [card]Crystal Memory[/card] to a three of. That way, he could more easily use different cards like a toolbox. Get them when he really needs them. That should allow him to cut excess cards easier. Edited by Sacramento Tzar, Jun 8 2013, 10:15 PM.

Play and Promote Poorman's Format Check out Tzar's Poorman Decklist. Please use card tags when you post in the deck deposit. Using color tags just makes your deck harder to read and harder for people to give you feedback. Not to mention it makes it harder for newer players to see what types of decks are being played. | |
