Here's my take on mono-darkness which I had been running for a good part of the last month locally - and it's played AMAZINGLY! However, since I've played it so much I decided to retire it after last weekend, so here it is!

Creatures: 29
3 Grudge Weaver
3 Scavenging Chimera
1 Freakish Test Subject
3 Gigastand
3 Scaradorable of Gloom Hollow
3 Featherfin Stalker
2 Ghost Spy
2 Ramis the Cloaked
2 Ripper Reaper
2 Gregoria's Fortress
2 Dracothane of the Abyss
1 Squilllace Scourge
2 Hydra Medusa

Spells: 15
2 Dark Return
2 Mesmerize
2 Bone Blades
2 Return From Beyond
3 Grip of Despair
1 Suffocate
3 Terror Pit

The basic premise of the deck is just massive disruption to my opponent, and continue to use cards in the graveyard as additional resources. The deck has a few nice combos in it, and played great. Also, I did not lose a single GAME to Drakon Deck/Red Deck Wins at all with this. I beat it down every time XD

Tourney Results:
5-1-0 (11-4 games played) - 1st place
3-0-0 (6-1 games played) - 1st place
3-0-1 (6-0 games played) - Split 1st place
4-1-1 (9-2 games played) - 2nd place

81.5% Game win percentage
88% Match win percentage (not counting the intentional draws)

Again, all this came locally and not against every deck imaginable, but it played great and think its really a top-tier option for people going forward.

The only thing i don't really like is this not being 40 cards ~_~ The rest seems cool :)

I wanted to bring it to 40, but I honestly couldn't think of what to cut to bring it down to that number! Everything was so important to the deck, it was painful just getting it down to the list of 44 XD

Are the one ofs really that important? I mean, how often do they show up? It isn't as if this deck has any way of tutoring for them like water civ does.

Please use card tags when you post in the deck deposit. Using color tags just makes your deck harder to read and harder for people to give you feedback. Not to mention it makes it harder for newer players to see what types of decks are being played.

There's only 3 1-of's in the deck. I put them in there because they can provide some utility but aren't ALWAYS necessary. Squillace has done more than its fair share of work - as well as Suffocate. The only 1-of I've really been thinking of replacing is the Freakish Test Subject. That always seems to be the one card that I find myself wanting to be something else whenever it's drawn - so that would most likely be the first casualty in this list.

Other than that, I know of a couple changes/additions I'd make to this list now (Such as adding in Feral Scaradorable) but I don't plan on playing the deck again anytime soon.

Well ideally getting closer to 40 cards makes the deck more consistent so if you don't like Test Subject, then I suggest you remove it so that you get that much closer.

-2 Ghost Spy
-2 Ramis the Cloaked
-2 Dark Return
-1 Suffocate

+2 Feral Scaradorable
+2 Bat Breath Scaradorable
+2 Freakish Test Subject

Those changes bring it down to 43 cards. I'll probably just drop the Bat Breaths - it tested pretty good but felt a little off at times - and then if I cut say, 1 Freakish so im down to 2 - I can put the deck right at 40 and have some more consistency.
