This is my first attempt at a control style deck. It focuses on using spells to remove the opponent's field presence and includes cards that gain from spells and creatures in the discard.

Creatures - 17
3 x Cyber Lord Corile
3 x Dracothane of the Abyss
2 x Featherfin Stalker
2 x Feral Scaradorable
3 x Grudge Weaver
2 x Fumes
2 x Squilace Scourge

Spells - 23
3 x Bone Blades
3 x Bottle of Wishes
3 x Crystal Memory
3 x Grip of Despair
3 x Logos Scan
3 x Mesmerise
2 x Return from the beyond
3 x Terror Pit

All thoughts on the deck are welcome ;)

Why only 1 Logos Scan?

Why only 1 Logos Scan?
I like to run the minimal number of cards to maximize consistency and at the moment I am not sure what to take out. If you have any suggestions I would gladly take them into consideration.

Other than the x1 Logos Scan, I see that Cyber Trader doesn't do much besides mill your deck. Return from Beyond/Dracothane would work better with creatures that have come into play effects like Fumes and Cyber Lord Corile. I personally don't think Grybolos is that useful.

Some possible changes you could do:
-3 Cyber Trader
-1 Return from Beyond
-1 or 2 Grybolos

+2 Logos Scan
+3 Cyber Lord Corile (maybe)

and if you want to you could take out 1 Featherfin Stalker and add some Fumes

I have made the changes suggested, I can see how Corile works with the large amount of shield blasts that are less effective in the hand and can be brought back with return from beyond (same as fumes) and be brought out with bottle of wishes.

Blurple is meant to be a tempo deck, not a control dek. You can run a cyber lord focused variant, or a chimera focused. Or jut straight up cards that give advantage

Sorry, I don't actually play kaijudo in real life and have only been playing online for a few months so I don't actually know much about the game. I assumed with all the removal that it was a control deck. :/

Control decks control the game (They play conservatively and try to slow the game down to where they deplete the opponents resources or once set up start to go in and end the game).

Deck Suggestions:
I would personally put in some more finishers, even though you are trying to play control a decent amount of finishers are still needed.
Also its better for a control deck to have more than 40 cards because its generally not good when your resources are getting depleted faster then your opponent's. Then controlling the game becomes meaningless.

Hope it helped!

^I wouldn't say to pack more finishers, but try and vary them a little bit. There's no use in having 3 Dracothane and 2 Squillage, unless you are running Rusalkas .. Feral Scaradorable should be Ripper Reaper and you could change in some teches like adding Freakish Test Subject, and Screeching Scaradorable (can remove Lux/Umbras/Manapod/Aqua Strider/Grudge...) and then tech a Hydro Medusa.

Your spell line up is also enourmous... Needs some cutting down.

If you want to go control other than tempo go for 45~50 cards and add more creatures :)
