My family is ending up our weekend at Victory Junction tomorrow. Victory Junction is a camp for kids with illnesses that Kyle Petty built in memory of his son Adam Petty. My son was invited here for the juvenile diaetes camp. He was diagnosed at 22 months old and started taking shots. He has recently started on an insulin pump and it's made his life a lot easier. I've been a diabetic for 29 years and also us an insulin pump.

The Pettys have built a special camp for kids. They have fishing, boating, horses, race cars, swimming pool, and several other activities for the kids. EVERYONE there is kind and goes the extra mile to make your child feel special. They had Bigfoot and Wild Hare monster trucks here this weekend. Those fellas were great!!!

Kyle Petty came by this evening and spent some time with the kids. My simple words can't express our thanks to everyone at Victory Junction.

Please support the camp if you ever get the chance. Several kids from all over get a chance to escape their illnesses there They are reated with kindness and respect...That is a priceless gift.

God bless,

Ben

Ben, that is a very touching report! Hope your son fares well!!

It is always nice to hear something special like this. There are some good decent folks in this world that are willing to share their wealth for a good cause.

Hope you all had a great time!

Ben, it is great that you all got to go!! I know from talking with you that you had a great time :D

At our local Pizza Hut resturants, you can donate to Victory Junction ;) This is a wonderful thing that the Petty's put together for these kids!
