Hi Folks,

As some of you may know from the old board My husband, Tim Pierce, had a SMALL accident in late October. Our Boston Terrier came running back to the house and slid into the kitchen door and slammed it open into Tim's leg. This caused a large hematoma, a bloodclot to develop on the outside of the leg. The clot ruptured the blood vein and became about the size of a drink can. This had to be surgerically removed and Tim ended up spending a week in the hospital. The surgery took place on Nov. 1. We were told he would have to have a skin graph to cover the open wound that this left. Last week on Dec. 14 we went to the Doctor and got the best Christmas Gift!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D :D NO SKIN GRAPH :D :D

His wound has healed wonderfully and he is growing skin back over the wound. This ruined his deer season but we are both very thankful that everything has and is healing as well as it is. Tim is a diabetic and could have easily lost his leg over this.

Thank you for the prayers that came our way and may each of you have the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!

That's great news, sounds as if Tim is healing fine.
This time of year things usually seem much brighter, I'm sure we all know why.
