22 lever action; whitch one is best

been looking at 22 lever action rifles looked at browning henry & marlin woundering whitch one is best i like to have one that you can shoot shorts in

My First 22 ever was a used Winchester Lever Action. Great gun.

I like it and the marlin better than the Browning. The Browing has a real short stroke that I don't like.

My buddy uses a Henry lever action as a dog box gun, and for a 22 to keep in the box that you don't mind getting a few dings on, I don't think you can beat it.

I really like the Henry I have! I got a youth model and it's great...easy to carry and light. It will shoot shorts and LR...good truck gun.
