This is a new variety of Round-up Ready corn that we planted early just to try. I hope 35 degree temp dont kill it. What do you think Wendel. The Cajun |

I think that is what I'm gonna plant this year. Don't really want to, but not much other certified seed to be found. I got priced appx $165 for a bag of round up ready. How much did you pay? I don't think 35 will kill it if doesn't stay that cold long.... |

Ben this seed was given to us from the County Agent they are testing this seed it is very new. It may not even produce corn...lol I bought some sweet corn seed for $11 per lb. I got Merit and we will plant it after this cold spell coming through. |

We're planting appx 11 acres in the river bottoms. I plan on putting some sweet corn in with the field corn. That way I can get them early coons, deer, and late coons. We're gonna cut appx 8 acres for cow feed/deer corn and leave the other 3 standing for the critters. Good luck! |
