This is a new variety of Round-up Ready corn that we planted early just to try. I hope 35 degree temp dont kill it. What do you think Wendel.

I think that is what I'm gonna plant this year. Don't really want to, but not much other certified seed to be found. I got priced appx $165 for a bag of round up ready. How much did you pay?

I don't think 35 will kill it if doesn't stay that cold long....

Ben this seed was given to us from the County Agent they are testing this seed it is very new. It may not even produce corn...lol I bought some sweet corn seed for $11 per lb. I got Merit and we will plant it after this cold spell coming through.

We're planting appx 11 acres in the river bottoms. I plan on putting some sweet corn in with the field corn. That way I can get them early coons, deer, and late coons. We're gonna cut appx 8 acres for cow feed/deer corn and leave the other 3 standing for the critters.

Good luck!
