my rifle is just a New England fire arms handy rifle in a 223 single shot, with a bull barrel with a Tasco 6x18x40 with a 300 yard range finder I've own a few differnt brand's in the 223 but this is just as good if not better then top brand names. Look's just like a single barrel shot gun except it's a rifle. Glen |

Glen- Iv'e seen them New England single shot rifles. Neat looking. A good friend of mine used to carry one(223also) scoped in his trk. to shoot yotes with. He liked it too. I believe he had a nylon bullet band on the stock to make it more convient to reload after shooting. Ben-A gundealer I know goes to Wyoming prairie dog shooting. He takes several calibers with him but he really likes the 17HMR for out there. Has good range-shoots flat&level and he says prairie dogs can't hear the gunfire a lot of times so he gets more shots at them cause their not spooked. He shoots a Marlin with a Tasco. 6-24 variable.
