TREEING COON WITH SNOW O.G; HOW MANY HAS ????

Who has hunted their dog with snow on the ground and treed coon with Temp's in the teen's??? Up here in WV the last part of coon season it get's fun to hunt them old ring tial's with a light snow on the ground and it hard as a rock and timber poping were it is so cold. I've kill sq & coon in that kind weather. It take's a dog to grub one out that time of year. Somethang to talk about. Glen

Its done up here in this part of the country. Best action is in Jan. (weather permitting)when coon are mating & boar coon are on the prowl.

I hunt my dog Jeb in Jan and Feb after all the deer hunters quit, He trees coons regularly on snow and frozen ground. I also hunt him in squirrel competition out of 12 casts I have only been beaten once and one cast we had no winners no dog had plus points....Don
