Again, my simple mind has been thinking and that can be dangerous! The cyber world is very small for the cur dog fanciers. I know that litterally the whole world could read this post but only a very limited few will actually see this. Man, they do not know what they are missing. lol. Anyway, I know some folks make a lot of statements on other sites that I am not sure they would be proud of if their piers in the business world, their employers, their ministers including church members, their state licensing boards, political oppenents or family members including parents, wife and children could read some of stuff they put in print that is forever recored in the cyber world history books. I sometimes wonder if there convictions are as strong as their harsh words. I like folks that are strong and stand behind their words and are proud of what they say and don't care if the whole world sees it, no matter if their opinions are different than mine. The dedicated KSBA members that I know are strong and will stand up for their beliefs and will open their cyber books for the whole world to read. I hope our friends on the other side of the fence can say the same when all is said and done and this chapter in the KSBA history book is closed. |

Turbo, I consider myself to be a man of my word. I do what I say I will do and am willing to suffer the consequences if I'm wrong. I believe in fair play and I don't talk behind someones back. I have disagreed with folks many times in my life, but as of right now I have never talked about folks like I've seen some folks do on this computer, and this includes some folks who used to be on this board. I refuse to go on the squirrel haters board! I have never experienced such bitterness and hatefulness in my life. I sincerely hope that the folks on this board never stoop to such levels of morality. Besides, I don't have time for mean feelings, squirrel season opens tomorrow morning! Hoo-ray! |

Here is what i have learned from the internet. I am one who will remain friends with people whom i call friends no matter what others think, always have! BUT, i have tried to be in the position of the middle and tried to honor both sides in the past. Let me tell you what you get trying to ride the fence, a Raw Crotch!!! I will always try to honor my own convictions, i always have. What i have learned best is to mind my own business. I do lot less typing on the internet now. I have to remind myslef sometimes, these are just dogs and peoples feelings are more important than my opinions.

Loyd you and Tommy both made good post and I agree with all that you have said. I PM'D a member last night that is a little less than happy with some of the directions or actions the ksba has taken. And you know what! he was up front and spoke his piece. I never see him on the web sites making himself look foolish like some other folks do, But you know where he stands. I appreciate his honesty and could be good friends with him because of his honesty no matter if we agree on things or not. Tommy, I also respect folks on either side of the fence except the few that disrespect themselves, other folks and our sport. Thats why I wonder how proud these few folks really are with what they post and if they would be proud to share their writings with people that they deal with in every day life! If they are, then I will fight for their right to say it! But I have a tendency to think that they would be somewhat embarrassed. |

I havent seen a difference of opinion about these Kemmer Dogs and Robert I have seen pure lies and lots of hurtfull things said and dogs added to pedigrees as foundation stock when they were told they were not foundation stock. These things have been done to suit them selves not for the better of the breed. The difference of opinion we are all used to is much classier than what has been put on these hater websites. |

Cajun, I believe with all my heart that our goal is to continue breeding 100% Kemmer Curs. With that said, how can we disagree with those who wish to breed and train these dogs? We can't! We can only disagree amongst ourselves when some wish to pollute the blood of these fine dogs. I see no way to argue this issue. If a man wants to breed a Kemmer dog with another strain of Mt. Cur or hound please feel free to do so- just register it as a treeing Cur or whatever. I'm not angry with anyone. I just have not understood why some are so upset that Mr. Kemmer wants to continue keeping his strain of Mt. Cur pure. I do not know Mr. Kemmer or any of the individuals involved in some of these discussions. I have no axe to grind. I only know that since I've started hunting Kemmer Curs I'm happy with what I have and I expect Mr. Kemmer and the BOD to do what becomes neccesary to keep them like they are. " If it ain't broke- don't fix it". |

Great post guys, I really liked Tommy's quote of people's feelings being more important than personal opinions. The ksba is doing a great job and everyone that is involved with it seems to be enjoying it and people will be enjoying it for along time to come. I know that I plan to. JJ |
