wife & I just got back from sparta & kemmer hunt. we had a very good trip & met several ole friends & made some new ones also
nice place for a meeting, & real nice club house.
I thought we had a very good turn out, considering all that has been
happening.I'LL let someone else give the results, but will say old tn.
mtn. mack won the treeing contest & got a win as show ch.
as far as I know this was mack's first time in treeing contest.
no to bad for old sorry dog as some like to say about him.

I'VE rocked my babies at nite when they've cried
I've seen their teardrops turn into smiles
that's when I realise all the bad things i've had
all of the good times out weigh the bad.

I left early Saturday because I had to get on back but from what I heard from a couple of guys last night, I left to soon. They said there wasn't hardly any parking places even left on the property on Saturday. That's a really nice turnout. I thought the guys that ran that white co. club really did a great job and cooked up good grub to. Plenty of coon there to, we saw 10 on our cast alone. Really great seeing everyone. Take care, James

Well folks, I have to apologize for not coming to the hunt. My daughter got married Friday night(thank God!)

I was really disappointed that I could not attend but I am more disappointed after hearing about the 75 to 100 folks or so there and many with their families. The family atmosphere IS BACK!!! and the fellowship was great. There were no little "personal agenda groups" looking like they had been sucking on lemons and staying to theirselves. The KSBA family is back!!! Now that some house cleaning has been done, there will be more and more of the KSBA family members coming back to our hunts to share in the fellowship and enjoy these great kemmer dogs.

Calvin talked to Robert and Robert told him the parking lot was full and that all had a great time.

Charlie I hope the wedding went well . I dont have any daughters and I know dads who do it can really cost...lol Robert told me when he got to the hunt saturday there was hardly any parking place to be found.Isnt that wonderful. I wish I could have been there myself. But I will make it in the spring as I have more time off that time of year.I heard from several other people who went to the hunt who were well pleased with the turn out and the friendly fellowship. Looks like the KSBA is back on the right track and the membership is growing with the kinda people we started out with.I guess it went through what is called growing pains and all that stuff is finally worked out.
