This is a male dog that Lloyd Herring gave me. He is 5 years old and had been owned by his nephew as a pet. Lloyd told me that he would make a treedog in a very few hunts since the genetics were already in place. Well this is the second time he had been out since I got him and he had a grey squirrel treed. He is a definite stay put dog and trees with his nose in the air winding to the tree. I sure wish I could have had him when he was just a pup. Thx for reading, JJ |

James, glad to see old Homer on the wood. He was born a tree dog but hasn't had much practice. I just bred my Birdy gyp to Magnum this weekend. He is also out of Lloyds Buck dog and Shenna(7/8's Old Trouble & Mrs Reproducer). Magnum hasn't been hunted much but he is a natural tree dog that produces natural tree dogs like his sire, dam and his littermates. Here is a pic of him from saturday night treeing a possum in a persimmon tree. He winded him from my kennel so I turned him loose to see what he would do and he never missed a beat. He treed his head off. ALL NATURAL! Can't wait for these pups!! |

Well, to be honest, I can't remember what Lloyd told me, I haven't got the papers yet, but they should be in the mail anyday and I will post it. Thx, James |
