Calvin, Jimmino and myself made a coon hunt saturday night. We went a little early because LSU looked like they wanted to give the game away in the first quarter. We had a good hunt for all first year dogs catching 3 coon. I was setting up a tailgate shot and took one pic. then my wife called and told me the good news about LSU winning and the Missouri and WV loosing. We were shouting on the tailgate. I took another pic and you can see the difference. It was nice to be back in Cajun country with the water, snakes and aligators and of course good friends!! GEAUX TIGERS!! HERES THE BEFORE PIC |

Well Calvin, there was a coon and possum in the same tree. In the comp hunts you get first strike and first tree! With friends, if your dog trees first, he was treeing the possum if our dogs tree first they were treeing the coon. lol Here is a pic of coon fight! |

Charlie, good pic, looks like a good hunt. Glad LSU won their game and are going to play for the nat. champ. Just for perspective, remember, they couldn't beat the Wildcats. I'll be thinking about that win while my boys are playing in the music city bowl in Nashville. James |

James, the SEC teams realy beat each other up year after year. Kentucky can beat any given team in the country on any given day as can LSU, Tn(Biggun) and most other SEC school. LSU went through some battles this year and were VERY fortunate to get to play in the BIG HOUSE" but none the less, very deserving! Ohio St is a worthy foe so we will see!! GEAUX TIGERS!! |

My early prediction is that LSU will smoke OHIO ST. LSU is alot better team than given credit for and they stumbled twice but they will bring it home. I think the biggest travesty is Hawaii being undefeated and not getting a shot. Really don't understand all this BCS stuff. James |

Here is another pic of dogs on hunt. This is Duke on Tree. He is really a nice tree dog but a long way from a coon dog! but he is getting there faster than I thought he would! Just need to keep him in the woods. |

Here is a pic of Duke and Calvins Creole Hank on tree. Mullet is on the other side. This is the biggest live oak tree I ever tree in or the biggest tree period. This tree is as big around as the hood of my truck. Calvin's little hybrid is really going to make a dog. Really enjoyed seeing him go! |

Charlie I hope to take Hank squirrel hunt this afternoon. If I ever learn how to stop getting this poison ivy I will go more often lol damn this is not fun.I have never caught it all my life now at 51 I have developed an allergy to it. Maybe someone can tell me what to use to prevent it besides staying out of the woods. |
