I went hunting last night and the coons didn't seem to bemoving early. Treed one on the first drop and the next drop they got DEEP and came back without striking a track. Can't wait for it to cool down this weekend.....

Here's a picture of Juice.....and her son...LOL

She's very heavy Target bred. Robert told me she's one of the heaviest Target bred dogs alive. There are 2 brothers of hers still around. I think she's appx 50 percent Target. I plan to 3/4 her with the male Juice/Strutt pup I have in a year or two.

I have had two from Blondy Target, Juice and Maggie. I just don't think you will find any harder track driving fools than that breeding.

Robert had a male that was from Juice's mate toby bred back to their momma Blondy Target. making him 3/4 blondy Target, He was a pup when I saw him but was a good looking thing.

Is Blondy Target still alive?

Thomas hit the nail on the head. I know Juice is a very cold nosed, open mouth, track driving machine. I've seen her finish a track and tree game that the other dogs didn't even know was there. I hunted her with a Bluetick a few weeks ago and she grubbed an old track and treed the coon. The hound didn't have a clue the coon was there and he's a 5 yr old dog. I think she can run a track about as good as a REAL good Walker that I hunted in the UKC world hunts.

I hope these pups get the good from her and Strutt. Should make some good ones. I know that 3 of the 6 have already treed their own game. One is being hunted on hogs and the other 2 are being coon hunted and are running track. They should be close to treeing their own game.

Ben, sounds like the dogs I have always hunted but my are mostly Cajun Nugget/Old Trouble bred. I love a cold nose dog that can move a track like it is hot.

Keep up posted on pups! and be sure to save that blood. I might need to add some later!!

Take care,
Charles
