I took Hank out late this morning. Kinda waited for still hunters to leave. I went to a place on the property that is owned by the Co. I work for and Hank made 4 trees. There is lots of feed and game. But the Cajun needs help to find the squirrel this time of year.Sammy may come with me in the morning with his Striker pup. I bet his young son helps me find them. Charles I saw many coon tracks we need to hit this place next time ya'll come. Only thing its along the banks of the Bayou Teche and untill is gets much cooler there will be Gators along the banks. Hank is not a stand on the tree type of dog. He likes to stand back and help the Cajun look... :D

As late as you got in the woods, that ain't bad! I was mowing my moms lawn while Hank was treeing! Hank looks good!

I got up a little earlier and made a quick trip to my training woods and left the gun at home as I ain't killing any sqs around the house until the population builds back up some. I been feeding them all summer.

Can't go coon hunting tonight as I have my 40 year class reunion! I hate hanging out with old folks B) but I guess I will go for a little while!

Made one decent tree with Duke and Lil Bit!

Calvin- When I saw your picture of Hank I almost "called your dog"! He looks & reminds me of my Cajun Jack dog that I got from you 15 yrs. ago(out of Tite x Cassie) Their color & build is so similar. I've seen Hanks stance in Jack under the tree sooooooooo many times over the yrs! Jack would get up on tree to check- then cock his head to listen then get back & tree & watch for me to come & watch for treed game to move or be shot out to him. Glad you had good hunt.
PS- watch out for them gators!!!!!!!!

Wendel the story on your Jack dog is loooooong over due my friend. Pleeeeease tell the board about the relationship you and your friends and family had with Cajun Jack from Iowa.It needs to be told it is a great story especially for us young folks....and I know you have many pictures of Jack you can put up here.
