You all probably get tired of my pics and ramblings but I still get excited over these Kemmer dogs like the first time I ever saw Thompson's Bell(Turbo's dam)in the woods around 16 years ago.
With a front and rain coming through tonight, I decided to take Kate solo to see if she would do anything. On my last feeder, Kate struck a track she liked and opened up good once she figured out the direction. She worked about 150 yards and was barking around a big oak tree. She was not treeing hard but was hitting a lick or two and showed me the tree and the coon. I was proud of her. She really trailed pretty good through some thick stuff. ![]()

A few more trees like that, and if you can get the coon out to her, she'll be well on her way. |
