It surely was a great night to coon hunt! Jimmino about froze to death hollering me and his grandson, Travis out of the woods!
Picked up a new dog this weekend named Pineywoods Bo, a 3/4 Herrings Buckshot Male that just turned 5 yrs old. Kinda passed on the 2 wk bonding thing because I am worse than a kid wanting to play with a new toy. Turned Jimmino's Plott, Rock, loose with Duke and Bo. They immediately hit the creek and Rock let out a big beautiful Bawl to strike in at about 15 minutes. Duke and Bo are silent on track so I put the tracker on them and they were with Rock. They moved the track a good ways and all three located at the same time and they sure put on a show at the tree. Those 3 dogs were making some sweet music in the cold still air! It was a long walk but I enjoyed every stept listening to those 3 dogs filling the air with a sound you can't buy at Walley World! I am looking forward to getting Bo back in shape and to bond with him. We may have a long future together! I forgot the dang camera because I was in a hurry to drive 70 mile home then 68 miles back to Jimmino's place!I did take a pic(with cell ph) of Bo at the house when I hauled him and Duke around Sunday to start the team bonding process!

Charlie, Bo is the sire to my dog, Wally. If he is doing like his son, you'll have alot of fun with him. |
