That sure is some nice pics but the thing that keeps catching my eye is the background in alot of the pics. That sure is some pretty hills back in there. |

It sure was a good time had at Grassy Cove. Those fall colors were a sight to behold.I had a real fun time riding those horses. The boar hog I was suppose to catch and change his stall well Roy wouldn't let me open the door and after I finally left the barn Roy opened it and let Charles take a picture. I think that hog is Roy's dads pet and he didn't want the boar to get hurt...
... All jokes aside I sure did enjoy my visit with Robert ,Larry and Roy and we came home with some of the very best bred Kemmer Cur and Hybred pups avaliable to man. I know Robert and Larrys horses are better horses today then they were yesterday also....

It was sure nice to meet Larry. We do have a lot in common, dogs and horses. It's always great crossing paths with the Cajun people. If it wasn't a 12 hour drive one way, we'd do it a lot more often. I spend quite a bit of time with Robert discussing these dogs. I have partners that help me raise them and train them. When I take a pup to my hunting buddy, it has to be showing some kind of hunting in at least 3 to 4 days. It's supposed to start raining this week, then the hunting will be on! My little buddy that was wanting me to come up north and hunt on the 12th has backed out on me so I guess my and Teddy's first hunt away from home will be at Land Between the Lakes. Not sure what day that will be on but we have several young dogs that need to be put in the woods. Teddy has a couple in there already since he lives closer to hunting country. They must be doing pretty good because he's had them for 2 weeks! |
