Been out pluggin around tryin to tag a buck left the truck around 7am this morning hikin the main rim of Scotts Gulf and reached the old Copper Cliff hunters rest around noon time no deer to tag but readin the sign that im on should be a brusier. Got a new camera and cant wait to tag some Kemmer shots with it . Plan on bein back at it in the mornin hiking the Scott trail area man I hope the old Shed is still standin there too these are quite handy especially after a hard hike.

Me too Biggun this wilderness in every sense of the word. Thanks for the invite to hunt Im gonna hike these ole Hills for a few more days and get into some huntin shape Im ready to see and hear some dog work Ole Bit is just about healed up from his tussle with that ole hog and ready for a rematch. I don't won't to be running up and down them mtn's. yall got up there but I sure do like looking at them. Yall sure have got some pretty country up there.I love to hunt land down here that has ridges and sleaughs in it but yalls ridges are way higher than ours.If I ever got to the top I would stay up there till hunting season was over so I wouldn't have to make that climb but once. I still don't know why Crokett left that pretty country and rode so far to fight so many mexicans for some flat ground with nothing on it but waste high mesquite bushs and a few water holes (alligater tanks as Dee calls them) on it. He didn't bring near about enough lead or powder for that many mexicans. Big Ronnie |
