I just wanted to hear from some of you out there. In the woods Coon, Bear, Hogs or Squirrel what is your favorite living Kemmer? In other words what dog that is still living impressed you either Bear, Hog, Coon or squirrel hunting, or a combo of the above? I was just intrested in some of the top living Kemmer's out there.....Who had them & what they were out of..... My Favorite is Kenny McClain's Frosty.... He no longer gets pups after being casturated by a Hog a couple years ago but he still is a BEAR DOG......... He is Out of Fireball & Yellow Baby |

I can only think of three names off of the top of my head for that (Julie Julie Julie). When I had her down here and she hunted whatever I wanted to hunt when I wanted to hunt whatever and she enjoyed hunting it as much as I did.The only word that really truely describes her is (AWSUM).Im sure there is some younger dogs out there that can out hunt this old gal because of her age but the question was which one hunted good and impressed me.My vote is Miracle's Julie KSBA World Combination Champion.Jason I would like to thank you again for letting me have the opportunity for Julie to come to my house and help get Trouble II and a few more of my dogs headed in the right direction. Wintfords old female Jill is still as good as they come, Ronnie Wooten's Slim Jim and Big Red aren't to shabby either. Year before last, at the spring hunt I think, I drew out on a cast with KEN G and his dog, Burgess Yellow Blaze and he was pretty impressive on a rough coon track. |

Jason, I agree that there are many outstanding Kemmers out there. The sad part is that I haven't had the pleasure to hunt with them so I can't say. I can tell you the Kenny Gray's Blaze dog did a good job in the world hunt as I hunted with him but most of the time, I am doing what I love to do and that is work with young dogs and most of that is one on one time. Hopefully, I will retire in several more years and you can bet I will "be on the road" to enjoy the fellowship and fine dogs this association has to offer!

Who are you trying to fool Charles? When you retire you will be doing more of what you enjoy the most, training them good looking pups and makeing tree dogs out of them, but your going to be turning them out more faster cause you will be putting more of your time into them (except for when the red fish are running)................Big Ronnie |

Frosty is the best bear dog/hog dog that has graced us with his presence. Frosty was not hunted on feeders and baited game he was walk hunted in rough country for 9 years and proved himself in front of many dogs and many people time and time agian. Frosty is the undisputed king of bear dogs. |
