Wingpatch-Did you kill a pregnant female squirrel? It can happen in late season hunts. Several years ago my Target female treed a squirrel for me on last day of open season. After I shot it out & it hit the ground I thought that was a pretty big squirrel. When I picked it up I found out why. (pregnant) I cleaned her later she had 4 little ones inside of her. Not a good feeling at all but I couldn't tell she was pregnant when she was on that tall limb & season was still open. She just got bred earlier than normal that season. Farmboy-1 |

yep , female full of little ones
good side to the story it was the young dogs first alone . took the same dog last night ran a short race cought something on the ground then treed in a big pine thicket , popped out what i thought was a coon it werent , big spotted critter with a cur dog tail
this dumb yellar dog dont know what he whats to catch :rolleyes: if i can get this pooter thing figured out i might post a picture or 2... i just cant find the gaget that eats the pictures to post on this thing ...anybody got any ideas......tom
