Have been puttin off talkin bout this today but ole Bit lost his battle. Had alot of good times with this ole Yeller dog in the short period of time that he was here he was loaded with grit and tree power and this time he was off to himself and wouldnt quit. I didnt see the fight but I was well on my way to it when everything shut down.Posted Image

It's been a tough year for all of us. I'm sorry to hear about his passing Bron.
Seems theres a bunch of us on the board that have lost some dogs in the last 12 months or so before their time? I guess the up side is the fact that there are still some mighty fine dogs out there producing game dogs to replace them with?

If I had a pup Bron, I'd send it your way.

Thanks for the support brothers I was fortunate enough to breed Ole Bit to my Dolly female and have 5 dandy puppies It ll be awhile before Dolly can pull hair again and I should have me a fine young pack before too long to do a little get back on these porkers.

Bron- I'm sorry to hear about "BIT" Never easy to loose a good one. He had a good home & master while he was here & he left this world doing what he loved the most. You gave him more than some dogs will ever recieve.

Ole pap used to tell me as a kid cause i would take up with every huntin dog he would bring in "While they are here at home we can make sure that they have a fresh drink, a warm bed and plenty to eat but when we turn um into gods country its all in his hands from there".
