Loyd I haven't heard much on how ya'll are comeing out with getting everything back to normal around there.A friend of mine that lives just down the road from me took his truck and hauled a lot of equipment for Energty from all over La. and Tx. to your area.He told me yesterday that you could ride for miles and miles and the tops of all the trees were gone .He said that it wiped out all the light poles all over up there, said they were broke off even with the ground.Have you gotten electricty back on yet?Sometimes we seem to think, well the ice is gone and it has warmed up and everything is alright now but thats not the case this time in Ark. and Mo.Hope you guys are getting it back together there......Big Ronnie

Ronnie, My electricity went out on January 27 and was turned on February 15 at 7:00 p.m. It's really a nice thing to have!! Your friend was right about all the trees being broke at in the tops. And all the tops are on the ground, making hunting very difficult. Our hunting will be miserable for 3-4 years to come. Many people here still have no electricity. I hope they get it soon. The word is that this ice storm was worse than Katrina in monetary value, only time will tell, Loyd.

Glad to hear yall are back on Loyd. We sent a crew from the coop I work for here in middle Ga. They got back home this past Sunday night after being over around Peducah for a couple of weeks. They talked like it was a sight to see. Just glad we were able to help. Hope everyone gets there power back on soon. Take care.

We couldn't have gotten power back on this quickly without ya'lls help. In our area alone we had over 400 extra folks to help us out. We had crews from Oklahoma, South Carolina, La., and Texas that I know of. We sincerely appreciate the help. Most were sent back home a little heavier. Everybody fed them cake, cookies and coffee until they were gonna' burst!lol.
