Ivy made her first catch today and i had to get on here and do some bragging i had her out with me in the woods an she hit a track trailed it about 60 yards an caught a huge possum she went nuts baying it , i was sure proud of her shes not a very big dog but she has lots of go power and brains so i guess it dont matter how big she is

Way to go on the great memory making!An old Timer told me to keep my Hybrids off a chain and in the woods,,,,And i see more & more each day what he is talking about!!!! It dont have to be a big Kemmer to Be a Truly Great Kemmer!These dogs have Brains,Hearts and alot of Grit,the little ones dont know there little nor do mine act like a little dog! |

I guess she isnt that small probly 30 pounds or so for a 7 month old kemmer female thats probably normal for a yellow jack bred kemmer isnt it ? |

Her brother is a little bigger than that but usually about 40 pounds is good for a female..... She should get at least 40 and mabey 45 when grown as Julie & Bucket are in the 45 to 50 pound range........ Keep her in the woods, Her brother is getting his first taste of a hog about thursday morning ( with any luck) mabey he won't get run plum out of the woods...... |

he should go for a ear catch i had to shock ivy she kept splitting the ears on my good show calf : so her brother should do the same to a hog
