Well ,,its funny how when you get it all ready ,,you can't make up your mind where to put the dang feeders Waited till dark so Rat could hunt for a few minutes while I filled up the tire with bird feed corn chops { was cheap at the dollar store },,and whole corn from the Co-op and water. NO B-UA Had the 4-wheeler running,,,and couldn't hear Rat,,,got back to the house Susan said where is RAT,,, Run out side to listen,,,sure enough,,,she was locked down on one...you can't blast-em over here ,,so I just went to her.. She had a dad-gum possum treed,,,and a big one at that...it was a small gum tree bout 20ft tall,,so I shook it out to her..she grabbed it and went to shakin the fire out of it...all at once there were little possums flying all over the place...I run Rat off the possum quick as I could and grabbed her up...she looked at me like I don't know what,,boy was she fired up.. The possum wasn't hurt ,just playing possum,,,the babys should be back with her and all good now... Old Rat ain't been out huntin in a long time,,,when we got in the house ,she laid in the floor looking like she was as happy as she had ever been..full-filled she was..
