I saw on here a while back some of you put some sort of yard bug killer on your dogs to control fleas and ticks. Could you tell me what it was and what the amounts were? Some one had used it for many years and it seemed like it was priced right. Thanks for the help. |

bayer tree and shrub with no fertilizer if you can find it. the only one i found had fertilizer so i used bayer complete insect it has the same ingredient only a little less. and its 1 cc for every ten pound of dog. i just bumped up the dosage a little bit to make up for the lower percentage of main ingredient. its the same main ingredient of advantage and frontline. |

Bayer does not work on ticks in my area. Must be the type of tick. I picked some ticks off and put them in a bucket and poured Bayer on them full strength and it did not kill them, however, it works wonderfully for fleas. |

Tradewater, The boys I foxhunt with use those purple cattletags on the dogs collars for ticks. They swear by them. Hope this helps...Mark |

We don't really have a tick problem but we do fight fleas. I started useing the cattle tags on our dog collars and so far we have had good luck with them.>>>>>>>>>>>Laree |
