I received my new smart light yesterday. I am impressed with it so far. It is light to carry and has a good white beam of light with a good tight spot. I have not been in the woods with it due to bad weather around here.

My Kemmer pup is sure coming along good, I am looking forward to getting him on a hot coon or squirrel. I plan to catch a squirrel soon as this rain stops, lol.

Richard I think I am going to get a smart light also. I need an extra light and I heard smart lights were light to carry and great battery life between charging. I sent a supervisor to do some inspections in the Fayetteville area and he said that the weather was terrible. Hope the rain breaks soon.

Mr. Richard I am glad you are happy with your raffle pup. How is the Katie pup doing? I think a smart light would be handy around the house and the dog pens.>>>>>>>Laree

The pups are doing great!

I am going to start taking Raffle out as soon as it stops raining now that I have a hunting light.

I like the smart light, it is bright for such a small size light. I think it would be good to use around the kennel at night. It weighs around a pound or two.

I have a Smart light and like it a lot. Sure is handy and the charge last a long time. However, I don't think it would be enough light for a serious competition hunter.

Yeah I got an east fork light (same thing as smart light) I like it but im thinking about going back to a belt light. Seems like those little head lights don't light up the whole tree. But like you said they sure are handy.

The other night, Randan and myself had a coon treed, we looked forever, before the coon was spoted, no way a little light would have worked. Almosted couldn't make it out with 2--21volt lights on it, never looked, not one time.............we tried all the tricks, but no eyes..............Don

One thing i do like about those LED lights is sometimes the coons will look at them when they wont look at a regular light. I think its something about the white light. But like you said if they wont look at all its hard to pick them out this time of year.

Sometimes mr. coon will look at a very dim light, My old coon hunting buddy used to use a carbide light, lol. I have walked back off the tree and used a dim light and seen the coon many times when he would not look at a bright light.
